Acda en de Munnik (Dutch) Interesting - I never really warmed to Acda en de Munnik that much (I lived in NL from 1997-2005) At the end of the day, I guess you have to sing in English to be internationally recognised The voice blend is what got me hooked. It's almost perfect. And I'll stop there before I give a full musical analysis... ;D The part about English is true... It's such a shame though. There are so many other languages that are much nicer to listen to. (Whether one understands them entirely or not)

Although I do like a number of different styles of music, there are several that I keep returning to. Kasey Chambers, I reckon you can't go past someone like her, she's an awesome singer and great to listen to live!
In general country is the music I listen to, I've found it's rather relaxing when driving and just kicking back at home. Another benefit of my favourite music is that no one wants to 'borrow' my cds and never return them!!
Other than that, depending on the mood, older music that everyone knows and can sing along to is good, plus some triple j stuff is also good... good Australian radio station, for those who have no idea who it is...

Hey beer is good!!! Does that mean that if I say I still tend to listen to the hottest 100 and drink beer means I'm still young... I like that idea!!! Although if you ask the teenagers I teach, I'm ancient with no taste in music!!!
From the now young beer drinker *sigh* glowing in the fact people may still think I'm young!

Yes, well, those lacking self-control inevitably get what's coming to them, don't they?

Music? I go for the jazz/bluesey type stuff. You know, B.B. King, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Ray Charles, etc. But some other stuff is good, a bit of classical doesn't go astray, and I'm a fan of Il Divo as well.

Hey, that's quite different to others around here. Good on you for liking jazz and classical! Do you play an instrument? I would have thought lots of people who like that type of music play it as well.

punk rock... cool. what sort of stuff do you already listen to? I'm not sure what really classify's as punk rock, I'm a bit dodgy about classifications, most of it crosses over anyway. Anti-flag are good. You like?

Um, well nothing really too hard-core. At the moment (okay, so not all of these are punk rock but...) Panic at the Disco, Killing Heidi, Evanescence um... lol main 3 I'm listening too, I also like Millencolin, Green Day, some AFI and Sum 41, The Killers old stuff (not a big fan of their new stuff). And that is all I can think off the top of my head for the moment

That stuff's great! the killers are one of my favourite bands. 'Hot fuss' was a great album and I still think 'Sam's town' is a great album but in a different way. Panic at the disco are also gooooood. I like them a lot. I'd recommend.... (going by what you said)(not sure if you'd know/like these) Anti-Flag's "this is the end (for you my friend)" Ima Robot's "creeps me out" www.myspace.com/imarobot End of fashion, Artic Monkeys, The kooks, Tegan and Sara. Have a listen and let me know what you think!!

Anti-flag are good. You like? Im loving One Trillion Dollars by Anti-flag at the moment...it may not be for everyone...but i like it, reminds me of the vines a bit (well that song neway, i havent heard toom any of their songs)... I've got sorta an ecclectic taste...a bit of everything...at the moment im listening to a bit of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sonic Youth, Death Cab for Cutie, AFI, Butterfly Effect, Wolfmother, The Scene Aesthetic i guess alternate would describe it best....ohhh, and ive been listening to a bit of Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance and they're pretty awesome....and then there's my more mellow stufff, a bit of Lior, a bit of John Butler, you know the sort.... A bit of my other stufff.... Silverchair Muse After the Fall Angelas Dish Arcitc Monkeys Augie March Bloc Party Bob Evans Coldplay Desaparecidos Foo Fighters Franz Ferdinand The Grates Grinspoon HIM The Hives Jebediah Josh Pyke The Killers Kings of Leon Kisschasy The Kooks Little Birdy Panic! At the Disco The Pink Spiders The Raconteurs Sarah Blasko Snow Patrol Something for Kate Something With Numbers Sonic Youth The Strokes The Vines The White Stripes List goes on....so basically rock/ alternative...with a bit of pop and punk thrown in for good measure...

I pretty much love everything you put down, As cold as an ice-schis-icle.
Especially Augie March, The Grates, Bob Evans, Artic Monkeys...
thumbs up to everything you put down.
One song I have NOT been able to get out of my head recently is "Thanks for your time" by Gotye. It's kinda different, but cool.
Does anyone here watch JTV?
