Thanks to all..it's good to be back. i can recomend Robin Hobbs as agreat author although the books she wrote under the name of Megan Lindrom are not as good they are ok. I also love Tamora Peirce and thought all her books are great. on IC i guess at least she has given us a couple of good reads in the past year or so but i sooooooo wnat to find out what happens in the sending. and i just read darkfall and darsk song again and cant wait to see how that ends as well. oh well *sigh* we will get them eventually...cheers

Hello all! I am back AGAIN and here to stay for a while. I've just spent the last week rock climbing, freezing to death, abseiling, crashing into fences on mountain bikes with dodgy brakes, being terrified out of my wits on flying foxes and high, high, HIGH ropes courses, freezing to death, falling flat on my face, and *drum roll please*... HORSE RIDING!!!!!!!! Oh, and the whole time it was somewhere between -2.9 and 14.5 degrees C. COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it was school camp! Anyways, me back now. Happy birthday nychthemeron! I have to ask, what is a meron? I like being able to talk to people who read books. None of my friends read! Well, one of them does, but she doesn't always read the same ones. Note to self: stop constantly reading the same books and read some new ones! P.S. Sorry about my atrocious chat speak. Me stop now.

Hey Leia! Wanderers needs more members, we have timtams and dual-flush! and elephants, i think i read somewhere. But I think you'll find friendly people EVERYWHERE! emi - meron is part of the word 'nychthemeron'. that is all i know. it may be a small mammal found in south american rainforests with an unusually large nose and purple polkadots, but then again, it may not.
We may never know!!!! *runs and hides*

Hey Leia! Ashlings are awesome!!! (the people, not necessarily 'ashlings'. I wouldn't know, because I don't belive I've ever had one) *hint hint* Anyways, I'm sure you'll have fun whichever guild you chose! I got automatically given mine, but that's beside the point! ANYWAYS, I'll just stop ranting about nothing, shall I? Or I could keep going, if you like. I can talk for hours. I wonder where my brother gets it from...
Is anyone else here addicted to Ober? I'm starting to find I'm constantly waiting... and waiting... and wwwaaaiiitttiiinnnggg......... for the time I can get on again.....................................................................

Hi All. Ive been obsessed with the Ober Chronicles since i ferst read Obernewtyn in Primary school about 10 years ago. I cant belive i didnt know this place existed untill afew days ago!
I've joined the Wanderers because in all my travels the worst situations have always been linked to the lack of dual flush tolets and/or tim tams.
Im in the middle of reading the Keeping Place for the millionth time. It was given to me for my thirteenth birthday by a family friend who was also my teacher and i read it the fist time in 4 days- the only times i moved where when my mother made me!

Go Leia!
Hello Hannai! May all your lack-of-dual-flush-toilets-and-tim-tams related problems end! I haven't got around to my millionth time reading TKP yet, (I only found OC a couple of months ago - I didn't know what I was missing!) but it sounds like a familiar story! (*cough* Harry Potter *cough* Tamora Pierce *cough* Deltora Quest *cough*) especially since a week after finishing OC I went back and read it again. And it's taking me considerably longer to read it this time round than the first time cos I can't stop theorising at all... anyway...
P.S. In case you couldn't tell, I'm resident rambler. In a short month, I've taken over all the boards with my rambling... MUAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
