***SPOILERS FOR SEASON 9 OF SG1***
***AND SEASON 2 OF ATLANTIS*** Has anyone seen the new episodes yet? First SG1. It wasn't as terrible as I'd thought it would be. Even though the character of Cameron is exactly like Jack which is a bit silly, he was still alright. I can't complain, the other Farscaper got it right, he does look a bit similar to Daniel.  And Daniel's still in it so i'm happy! Atlantis. So glad that stupid colonel or whatever got his life drained, he was annoying! Gotta love Rodney! hehe how funny was it when he tried to shoot the wraith! It's cute the thing Shepard has with Wier, so sweet... I wonder who's going to replace Ford in the team. I know Beckett's going to play a main role in this series, so maybe he will, but he's no soldier so i dunno... Umm, what else... Ohh. hehe, i wonder how long Skinner and the Dadelus are going to be in it... |

As much as I want Teyla and Sheppard to hook up, that was a very cute scene  Although, I would have liked to have seen him be more concerned about Teyla!  What's with that Asgard dude? How come he seemed so OK with using the transporting thing to deploy the weapons when that was supposed to be a big no-no? |

I still haven't seen them. *sigh* my world has fallen into a deep dark pit without SGAseason two and my beloved Rodney *snivels*. And the person I asked to download them for me won't! Evil!!!!!

Oh Lud, Daniel's beard! Possibly the most horrible thing I've seen all year.
SPOILERS: Season 9 of SG-1
Cameron isn't exactly like Jack, he's missing the whole insubordination / sarcastic / constant stupid pop culture referencing thing. I've decided I will like him on the conditions that (1) he doesn't develop the above things to Jacks level (it was getting really old by s7), (2) the writers don't try to recreate Jack and Daniel's relationship within half a season, and (3) he isn't dumb (in either the fake science or Jack way).
Avalon 1 was the first time I've seen Vala, due to channel 7 not airing Prometheus Unbound, and I'm very annoyed I missed it. Claudia Black is one awesome lady, but she looked like an icky thin dominatrix. Love the Daniel/Vala scenes though. Very cool.

Nah, it's ok, Emerald. As much as I love perving on Daniel Jackson, I've only really watched SG1 on and off over the years, so I really have no idea about what's going on in the big scheme of things whenever I see an episode. It just seems like way too much downloading to catch up on 8 seasons worth... So I'll stick with just Atlantis  |

I did read Gateworld's quick catchup guide that supposedly summarised all the important bits from the last 8 seasons, in readiness for Season 9. But without O'Neil, it just won't be the same..

Wittiness? You have got to be kidding me. Snarkiness is all well and good, as it dry humour, but sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. I used to love him, but he has annoyed me immensely since season 7. Actually, now that I think about it, I stopped really liking him mid season 5 because he was a meanie. I've had issues against him for a long time.
Daniel is much, much lovelier.

Ohh, fifth. that episode was sad!!!  But i've always loved jack! The new guy is good. So far he's showing the promise of not only having some of jacks wit, but he's smarter then Jack too. Yay! It too is pleasing that they've managed to come up with a fairly decent storyline so far for this season. I was afraid of what they might try and do in this season. There are only so many times that story lines can be resurected, and that goes for bad guys as well... |
