Ok, I'm not sure if anyone remembers me ranting about my crush a while back (That being my ex-drama teacher etc)....
...
...
Well, after a wild saturday night, with bits I can't quite recall, I woke up the next morning and guess who with!??!?!?!?!?!
We've seen each other a few times since. He came around last night and we just talked. I'm seeing him again tonight something about a possible movie, or just chillin'.
By the way, I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on age differences? He's 13 years my senior, but that doesn't phase me, but I know that if my family found out they would KILL me!
But yeah, this little er... advancement in my life is the reason for my abscence this week!
Sorry, i'm still rather giddy, and have been for the past few days!!!!
Much luv, Ashta

I used to be anti-age difference, but I'm fine with it now. I think it depends on individual cases. But seeing as you're over 18, it's your decision.
I'm glad it's going somewhere though, I do remember you talking about him!
I can see why you're family might have a problemn with it, but ultimately, it's up to you really. As long as you're comfortable with it, and are aware of some of the problems that a large age-gap can cause in a relationship.
Let me know how it turns out!

AH, the older you get, the less it matters. If you were 16 and he was 13 years older, i would be less happy, but 18...? *shrugs* go have fun! life shouldn't be about stupid little hang ups like age, if you can make it work, then why the hell not?

Yay Ashta! I remember you talikng about him too. Hope it all works well! I don't think age is necessarily an issue. I think in your case specifically it isn't one. But Yay for you, have lots of fun!

Weh hey! Thanks for the support. I guess I was just worried that it wasn't normal... but I guess it is. Although i'm about ready to strangulate my housemate as she still goes to the school that he teaches at and that girl just cannot keep her mouth shut! It's not that there is anything technically wrong with it, however, some people are narrow-minded and I don't want his reputation or his job endangered just because of me. I told him that last night, I think he's just as worried as I am. The only thing that was a little bizzare was that he told me that his divorce papers came through on tuesday... it's so confusing, yet so great... I just don't want this feeling to stop!
I'm ranting, but my emotions are all jittery and swirly! I asked him what this thing we are doing is, he agrees with me that full-out 'couple' may not be apropriate yet, things are complex. However, he was surprised to find out that I liked him!!! He only found out on Saturday when my good friend told him! He never thought that anyone liked in that way!!!! I was so sure that he knew, I'm as subtle as an elephant on a tricycle!
I'm estatic, confused, bubbly, yet feeling guilty. I'm so wound up with emotions!
But anyway, we went and saw a play together last night. It was very very funny.... I didn't get home till 10am. ;D Life is good ::sigh::

People who love you will undertsnad, if they dont they dont love you enough.. or soemthig along those liones. it soudned really smart at the time but oh well. so hows it all going now? I havent had any goos gossip in a while, i work with emn

My aunt was 19 when she started dating this divorcee who was 36 and they married two years later and are still together more than 20 years later. So that's proof that age difference doesn't really matter... as long as the two people are on the same level.

Besides, women mature faster than men anyway, I understand.

Weh hey! Thanks for the support guys!
Oh, and SO, I would love to hear your opinions. I'm not going to chase after you with an acme mallet for having your own opinions! ;D
Lol, and it was so cute, he came round after work yesterday and we just cuddled up on my bed and chatted for hours!!! ;D . He's awfully busy for the next couple of weeks though (which may be a good thing because I have esssays to write!), but damn, I miss him when he's not around.
I woke up the other night and reached out expecting him to be there.... and when he wasnt' i felt so lud darn stupid! It was kinda weird... lol... I was single for so long that I forgot that I miss cuddling up to someone at night (and he's extremely cuddly!!!!!)
Okay, now I'm just gushing. -Ashta

Im engaged so im allowed to have "relations" with my fiancee. the catholic church says so but like i wouldnt anyway um... I believe in after the event it just me (and some passage but yeah) and if your refering to a film that state that then it not what a real priest would say but meh it up to up... I just think of it as a wonderful gift from God that is some much more then physical that we have taken on a 'joy ride' and srewed it all up.

It's really good that you stick by your beliefs like that SO, I really respect that, and it's a virtue that seems to be diminishing these days.
By my religion, pre-marital sex isn't an issue. In fact sex is embraced completely and utterly and condoned as natural.
And just on the topic apparently I ooze sexuality (friends + couple of bottles of wine ;D).
