Moonfair AFTER PARTY!

Welcome!!

The Moonfair is over - so, while points are being collected (and lost entries found again) let's have a massive fancy dress to celebrate (and distract ourselves while we fill the void that not having moonfair about created )

The theme for the After Party is a little complicated! We're all a bit season-costumed out though, so let's make it a bit interesting!
First, take your guild's theme (if you don't have a guild, pick a theme!)
Ashlings: Winter (Coldwhite)
Dreamies: Spring (Days of Rain)
Mystics: Autumn (Harvest)
Wandies: (High) Summer
OR the Moonfair general themes: Copper, Wool or Onyx.

Take the first letter of your guild's theme. Eg:
Ashlings: W (or C)
Dreamies: S (or D)
Mystics: A (or H)
Wandies: S (or H)
Moonfairies: C, W or O

And pick a costume starting with that letter.
For example; I'm a mystic, so I have A or H. I might come as an Army member, an Aardvark, a Highlander, a Hogwarts student, etc. Anyone can use the Moonfairies theme, so I might also come as a Cop, a Witch or an Ogre.
Make sense? No...? Okay...

Party Away!

*fires up jukebox with some loud 80's music*

As usual, awards will be given out for party spirit/best costumes!

[Min]

*drags the last party's party-goers into the ballroom*

Min: So, where were we?
Domick-with-towel: We *were* just in the pool. Bloody Maruman.
Swallow: Who hired him as bouncer anyway?
*a swathe of fangirls enter in Swallow's wake*
Gypsywanderer: Oh, bloody hell...
Swallow: *runs* I, uh, need to finish my costume!
*Swallow exits. The fangirls stay.*
Domick: Looks like it's just us and the fangirls.
Min: Huh, I thought they were here for Swallow. Obviously not.
MysteriKat: Domick, when did you become an object of fangirl affection?
Domick: Ever since my dark, brooding persona was revealed in Ashling.
KaylanR: Ahha...
Fangirl 1: Lyk, wheres the music?
Fangirl 2: Are you going to dress as Kella or am I?
Fangirl 1: I thought we both were?
Domick: What the hell? This is fancy dress?
GypsyWanderer: You're not in costume?
Domick: Only as myself...?
Maruman-as-bouncer: It is impossible for characters to come as letters from guilds they aren't members of.
Min: Who let you in here?! We fired you.
Dark One: Well, costume's easy then. Obernewtyn characters have to come as the first letter of their *actual* guild. Who wants a drink, then?
Domick, Bec, Min, MK and DM: Me.
DragonMornir: But Domick defected out of the Coercer guild in TKP.
Domick: ... so I did. Huh.
*Dark One passes out drinks that start with the letter C & W*
*all sit around listening to bad 80's music waiting for people to join in*

[Schis]

Welll ive dressed up as myself...crazy schis...i know, im so original...

Now for the drunken revelry to ensue...


Sways back and forth as The Cure beat out 'Just Like Heaven'...

Swings his arms about, knocking stray balloons out of the way, shouting "We are the champions" with himself on the dance floor...obviously, partying...


Announcer: And the most original costume goes too...
Schis: Oh, i bet its gonna be me, im the only one hear so far...
Announcer: Anyone but Schis...

[Cat-Eyes]

*ducks in to swoon over Swallow*

[Dragon]

*enters without a bottle of vodka in hand*
I thought about changing costumes for the after party...but i was Autumn Witch Ariadne, now i'm just Witch Ariadne.
*holds up sign*
"Vote 1, Schis for most original costume*
Bartender: What will it be? The usual?
Witch Ari: No, i'll have an OJ thanks.
*the room goes silent and a woman faints in shock*
Witch Ari: Oooh, 80's music...my fav.

[Lina]

Mornir-K: *Enters the room shyly* Is this a private party or can anyone join?
Everyone: Just members of Obernewytn and it's affilated partners!
Mornir- K: Yay! *takes off trenchcoat and sunglasses to reveal costume*
Mornir-K: Introducing antelope winter style! Note my frosty winter additives! *snow flake earrings* But anyways on with the party - *brings out chips and dip*

[Schis]

*Takes a Carlton Draught from Dark One...*

Schis: (slurred) None of that silly lolly water for me...
Dark One: Right...*continues handing out vodka Cruisers regardless of my comment*

Wham's Jitterbug makes it's way into my ears as i thank Witch Ariadne for her continual support of me...and proceed directly to the dancefloor for some of my hardcore dancing...

Curious onlooker: Watch out...he'll kill someone with those flailing arms..
Schis: Too right!!!

[Min]

Min: Huzzuh!! MornirK's costume is awesome!
Domick: What is she, a reindeer?
MornirK: How dare you?! I'm a glorious Ashling Antelope!
Schis: *leaning against bar on elbow, wobbling slightly* Norman would be most offended!
Domick: I have to say Schis, that's one killer of a costume.
Ari: You should totally get a medal for that one.
Gypsywanderer: What I'm wondering is if we're going to get through a party without a *cough* scene involving Rushton.
Min: I doubt it. He can't seem to help make a fool of himself at these events.
Ari: He doesn't seem to have shown his face yet.
Domick: I think a hoard of fangirls were seen chasing after him with engagement rings?
Gypsywanderer: Oh yeah! Well, I take full credit for that one!
MornirK: So, who's going to create the scene this time? It'll be a boring party if nothing happens.
*Swallow dashes through the dance hall in a gopher costume with a grucho marx set of glasses. He climbs onto a bar stool*
Domick: What the hell are you?
Swallow: *evasive* I'm not party of any guild, so I came as something starting with the letter G...now, Dark One could I trouble you for a mead?
Dark One: One gopher sized mead coming up.
*A hoard of fangirls rush into the dance hall, looking left and right for something/someone*
Fangirl#72: Do you know what his costume is?
Fangirl#46: Nup, it'll be something dashing, no doubt!
*Everyone at the bar bursts out laughing. Swallow hides his face in his mead*
Gypsywanderer: You sure make one "dashing" gopher, mate.
Swallow: If it gives us some peace, I'll keep wearing it.
Ari: Now all we have to do is find someway to lose Domick's fangirls.
Domick: Ah, they're no bother. I told them to go dress up as Kella and I'll pick the best one to dance with, that sent them off squealing.
Min: So, peace and quiet for the moment?
Schis: *elbow slips off bar* in a sense.
*the door to the hall opens*
MornirK: Oh...crud. And we thought Rushton showing up would be bad.
*all turn to see who's arrived*

[Lina]

Thankies to whoever resized my picture of me in costume!
For those who are wondering... I'm pink cause I felt that my antelope outfit needed a bit of colour
Mornir-K: *to schis* I didn't think Norman would be offended at my costume! If you mean offended at Domick's comment then I quite agree.

*people not listening because they are all too busy staring at the person who arrived*
Shis: *slurred* what are you talking about Mornir-K - that's not Rushton
Swallow: so that isn't my rival in the love of Elspeth
Elspeth: *snorts* Hardly
Person who entered: No it is I the great magi Levi! Be amazed as I perform some AMAZING tricks to lifen up the party. It's been one heck of a Moonfair - so let's get this party started.

*proceeds to through a smoke ball down to create the illusion he teleported across the room*
*everyone hears him stumble as him runs into the food table*

Min: Who's Levi?
Domick: How should I know? Not part of our guild - no coercer would be that clumsy.
Elspeth: Maybe he's a rebel?
Swallow: When did you get here?
Mornir-K: I think someone had better stop Levi before he hurts himself.
Shis: Nah he's fine, Dark One - drinks all around!
Mornir-K: Well, so far so good - but aren't there any other more guests coming - come on peoples more costume! This ain't a dress up party for nothing!

[Rilla]

*arrives*

*stands in a corner mixing a bubbling cauldron*

Schis: [to all costumed people]... I dont know what ur trying to be but i think at least u guys have gone to some effort. *hiccup* But i've got originality on my side...coz im original...and u r too, u guys and ur effort....

M-Kat: *reaches over and easily grabs Schis' drink* Okaaay i think you've had quiet enough young man ...
Schis: *mumbles incohenrently*
Everyone: Where's your costume??
M-Kat: I left it in my other pants okay. Plus, i couldn't think of anything fabulous that started with C or W...
Swallow: I think you look nice.
Bec: Shut it you! *elbows Swallow in the ribs*
M-Kat: oooo Ari, i like your cauldron! What ya brewing?
Ari: *cackles*
Schis: *mumbles again*
DO: Here *passes Schis a water*
Schis looks offended.
M-Kat: Its okay - its vodka.
Schis slurps away happily.

[Min]

*rushes back into the room*
Min: Huzzuh, I found a costume!!
Schis: *staggers, squints* Are you some sort of monkey peddler?
Min: Er...meant to be Alladin...you know, A for Autumn...Alladin? Oh forget it
Schis: My costume still beats yours!
M-Kat: That's nice Min, now, to something important - who the hell is Levi?
MornirK: Who?
Rilla: That weird bloke who came in before.
Ari: Levi is no longer with us *cackles and stirs cauldron merrily*
*all pause and look at Ari*
Min: ...Ari, did you cook one of the guests?
*all wait to hear about what *really* became of the mysterious Levi...*

[Lina]

Ari: *devilish grin* let's just say I'd avoid the 'veal'

*everyone gives the veal a horrified look*

Mornir-K: Love the costume Min - hehe.
Domick: Is that all you can say after one of your friends has just been turned into one of your entrees?
Mornir-K: Hey, he wasn't my friend - he could have been one of your fan girls... did that even make sense??
Domick: *groans* Well in that case Ari - thanks for that.
Ari: *holds up wooden spoon in aknowledgement* anything else?
Mornir-K: Well I think I see the return of the Domick-girls

[MajiKat]

Everyone shrinks away as Ari eyes the squealing fangirls, her cauldron bubbling away merrily.

M-Kat: *aside to Min* its times like this i'm glad i'm a vegetarian.
Schis: I needs another drink.
All: *nod and run for the bar*

[Min]

Min: *aside to MKat* Oh, me too!
M-Kat: At least it's scaring the fangirls off.
MonrirK: Why didn't we think of that before? Huzzuh for Ari!
All: Huzzuh!
Ari: *cackles*
Schis: I wonder who our next star meal will be?
Ari: Whoever comes through the door first...either that, or I bulk it up with potatoes.
M-Kat: Potatoes are good.
Gypsywanderer: No Rushton is better *nods towards door*
*Rushton is standing at the door dressed as a pig*
Min: *gapes* Oh, for the love of lud, I thought we told Maruman not to let him in!
Domick: Oi! *calling to Rushton* This is a No-Rushton's party!
Rushton: But, Rushton Blake is right over there *points*
Rushton Blake-as-Raddish: Yo!
MornirK: We said no Rushtons. We've already got one.
Ari: No no, it's quite all right. Would you like to join me for a drink, O Master of Obernewtyn? *grins*
Schis: Shettle petal *starting to slur more definately now*...we can't be schooking da Mashter of Obernewtyn now.
Ari: Oh, not even just a little?
Rushton: *oblivious* Don't mind if I do!

Sorry guys, couldn't help it! He's just so easy to pick on, and he always livens up the party!! So, let's not cook him, or we'll be without a butt for our bad jokes

*drags Persimmon in*

Persimmon: Whyyyyy??? Why me?

Rilla: Because. Stop whining, you're embarrassing me more than Rushton embarrasses himself.

Persimmon: *mutters* I can't get any more embarrassed than I am now...

Rilla: Shush. You look quite dashing.

Persimmon: *glares*

Rilla: Take heart in the fact that your costume is better than Rushton's.

*they both look at Rushton's homemade pig costume*

Persimmon: True. Somehow, that makes me feel a whole lot better.

[Dragon]

*leaves cauldron to get a drink at the bar*
Bartender: Another OJ?
Ari: Umm, no. Gimme a vodka please.
Bartender: *beams* Gladly, i was getting worried that i'd brough all this extra vodka for nothing.
*Takes drink and returns to cauldron*
Rushton: Can I mix the cauldron?
Ari: Yes!....uh, i mean, no. (memo to self...cant cook Rushton).
Rushton: *pouts*
Ari: Your piggie costume might catch fire...and we dont want that to happen do we?
*rushton walks off stroking his pig costume*
Ari: Weird man.......*cackles*
No you *cough* second rate *cough* narrator! *cough, cough* I'm chocking on *cough* my vodka, not cack *cough* ling.

[DragonRider/Robin]

DragonRider/Robin:*walks in disorientated and drunk, looking like a Silver Snake* Can...I...joi...n...in... *faints onto the floor*

M-Kat: Oh lookie what i found in my other pants...
Everyone:
M-Kat: My costume. Didn't anyone notice me run off before? No? oh...well...thats okay...*sips drink*
Domick: *opens his mouth to say something, then closes it again*

*gets breath back*

*stumbles and almost falls in the cauldron*
