GAARRGGG! Stupid frickin' Apple and their stupid frickin' iPods. I KNEW I was right about how stupid Apple are stupid about iPods. Thank god I didn't actually spend any money on this one...
Why, oh why, when you want to do a restore (something it seems wouldn't be that uncommon to want to do to your iPod) do you need to have an optional extra piece of equipment that costs $50??? How stupid is that??? Grr....

Yaay, someone else who hates them! Apparently there was a fault with the bateries of my generation of iPods and so now mine only works for 30 seconds before telling me the battery is low and shutting itself off. Thankfully I've got iTunes on my phone so am using that at the moment, but it can only old 100 songs so it gets a bit repetitive, considering how much I use it. I totally can't afford to replace my iPod - grrrr!

I can't understand why anyone would buy an iPod! Normal MP3 players are so much more versatile.
Try converting an MP4 (iPod) to MP3...

My cousin didn't empty her pockets two months after she got her Nano, and it went through the wash. It obviously didn't make it. Half the things she owns are broken because she doesn't look after them. But we weren't able to download anything onto the iPod, so we had to go to a friends house to do that. It kept on skipping and half the time it turned itself off for no apparent reason just after we'd turn it on. It was a waste of money. I agree with DO, just get a mp3 or mp4. So much better and smaller, depending on the model.

I've been tempted by the creative zen vision for a while now, but can't really justify the purchase just at the moment. The iPod I have is on loan from a friend who is trying to convince me that Apple = good. Oh, that wasn't rant-y at all. Hang on... *rant* Damnit! Don't you hate it when you spill something on a favourite piece of clothing and you ruin it? Anyone got any good remedies for removing red wine stains?

In don't really have a rant as such. I'm just moping about as usual.
1- Some really cool goth chick took my kitten!! We had a sign up at the station (because we live next to it) and she came and took it. We were going to take the sign down that afternoon and keep it but we gave it too her. I was in the city with my bf at the time so I didn't know untill I came home and by then it was too late!! *sigh* Gingey was such a cutey and great to snuggle up to in bed!!
2-Today it was "clean the yard and house day" and we had to move the car into the garage to we could sweep the cement where the car sits on outside the garage. Mum was bending down sweeping when her necklace got caught on the car and ripped off!! It's super expensive and she got it from Thailand!! So I had to drive the car back out in front of the house and we searched for it but we still can't find it. We even opened the bonnet of the car and searched but it wasn't there!! *sigh* Mum was soooo angry at dad and she's not speaking to him lol
Oh dear, what a wonderfull day.

Really? Incredible. Actually, that's pretty daft.
I nearly killed my cat on Christmas morning. Any other time of year, he would be dead (not literally!!!! I love my cat!!!). You know you can get those gingerbread kits from the shops? they provide gingerbread bit and bobs, icing, food dye, etc. etc.? We got a gingerbread Christmas tree one. I made it up, looked really good, very tempting to eat etc. etc. I was really happy with it, it was gonna be on the table at Granny and Grandad's on Christmas day (all our family meets at their place on Christmas day and Boxing day) and overall it was pretty good. Then the cat got left in overnight on Christmas Eve. Cat gets up on the table overnight, knocks the cover off the tree, breaks a corner off, breaks the snow, licks the icing, ruins it. Worst part, we can't eat any of it 'cos we don't know which parts he touched/licked/ate. It sucked.
