Crazyangel: You should tell your parents about the incident at their friends house. That kid sounds like he's distrubed, and if you let him get away with what he did to you then there's no telling what he could do to others. Please tell someone.
As for the texting, i would just ignore it. If he's going to be that way towards you then he's really not worth your time, and remember that it's his loss!

Hey guys! Just a gentle reminder that this is just a thread for frustrated ranting. When something is annoying you, this is the place to come and rant about it. There have been a few more serious issues posted here and while in a sense they are rants, it would be more appropriate to post those kinds of things in Members Only where we can offer you proper support. We want to be here to help support you through your problems, but this is not the right board to do it in. Use the privacy of Members Only for that. Members Only is not only private, but it's in a different headspace and when we go there, we have our advice-giving hats on. There was so much junkmail in my letterbox the postie couldnt fit the real mail in properly and it got rained on! AAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

anyway, you should do what i did. go to your trusty hardware store and get a 'no junk mail' sign. They do actually read them....

half of the people that live around me have 'no junk mail' stickers and they still get junk mail. How incredibly stupid. Can people who deliver junk mail not read? Or do they think that their mail does somehow not fit inside the junk mail category? Gah! I'm ranting on my neighbours behalf  |

Gah - I agree cat-eyes, how annoying.
My rant is about how people can be just plain rude.
Here I am, walking to the toilets, and I have to turn a corner and this girl turned the corner at the same time as me, opposite direction, so we ended up coming face to face. You know when that happens, you pause, and wait for one of you to move, I move, out of habit/curtesy about to apologise when she comes out pushes me and is like b!tchy superior 'get out of my way'
I have just spent the last 8 hours working so I am tired and just looked at her stunned, she turned but I already turned to tired to have a conflict with her. I wish I had at least told her to back off. I think I was just too stunned by the fact that someone could be so b!tchy about such a simple thing.

My one big rant with IE7 is that *nothing* I do at work is supported by IE7 yet. All the Autodesk partner stuff is still only IE6 compliant and our database won't let me do html newsletters when ie7 is installed.
Get with the program Autodesk!!!! They don't support FF or Opera, they don't support IE7...you can essentially only use IE6. And that's just crap.

Well, Autodesk have recently bought Maya. It used to install ok, but now we have a few problems getting our network license to run.
Im guessing that Maya is Autodesks only Mac software?

I very much dislike the holidays as I always get conscripted into helping out my parentals with kiddie mosaic art classes, and today I got the devil's spawn.
I cut him many tiles all in blue - ones he picked out, he watched me cut them, and only when I finished the pile of cutting did he say "I've changed my mind I want yellow"
Jesus wept.

ok so today has been like the worst day ever.
Firstly had to do my first HSC exam in maths this morning then straight after i had to go and get braces. My mouth hurts and now the computer is stuffing up so it keeps turning its-self off every 10mins. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alas, people who deliver junk mail are told to ignore those signs. I delivered a local paper for a couple of weeks and I was told to ignore the "No junk mail" signs. Unless you ring up whoever's in charge and threaten them with nasty things if they don't stop putting junk mail in your box, then you'll get junk mail no matter what. |
