I hadn't thought about the different possibilites in STYLE until Buneater mentioned them
I had BRILLIANT idea on the bus, but it's a secret!
I'm not sure about people creating characters though. Because the whole point of the question was about what YOU would do.
Still, I have no objection to people using a different name and perhaps a different age and calling it "a character" even if it's obvious that it's really them.
But the idea was to say who you would be in that situation.
But majority rules, so let's talk!

Secret meetings sound good! Creaping around behind enemy lines, comando rolling to aviod gunfire, meeting in the dead of night to discuss sercet battle plans. I'm getting excited now! ;D

Don't worry, Kayt, I wasn't suggesting people should create a completely new character! I was just proposing that they might be a bit older or younger than they are now, or have a different family - something along those lines. I should have been a bit clearer on that, really.  |

Thank you buneater! I am aweful at editing! It is probably becuase i am a bad typist. Just saw the bourne supremancy! Very good. HEy KAyt or anyone with extremely good imagination. i have thought of my role as a foriener but I think it needs some work. It seems weak and i can't think of anyway to uplift it. I love the idea with you megana as both leaders by the way. |

I'm not sure what I'll be yet...I realistically doubt I'd ever be useful to a resistance, in anything other than yelling matches. Maybe I'll be a protestor who is part of the resistance but who can't fight...? Who does something else like ... .... I dunno, smuggles people out of the country? Will have to think it over!

Elspethseeker... Maybe you shouldnt focus on just our country because it is likely that if this sort of thing happened to us, america (I shouldn't say this) may be subjected to another september, 11 or worst... Maybe you could talk about not only the plight of you to help your friends in Oz and see if they are still alive (etc, etc) but describe and react to sercurity and welfare (e.g. panic, heartache, desperation) in your own country... how that effects you and and your own dispare at living in such an unstable environment... Maybe you could be unhappy with the reaction the U.S. gives to help Oz or maybe it could have a day in airport... There'd be so many emotions and events to experience there... I'm not to sure... just some ideas... |

Unless you're a collaborator, in which case you can leave on holiday. I suppose, you don't have to come back, and they can't make you

okay i'm from ireland and not too long ago we were being ruled by the british
there were many injustices against the irish
the great famine was avoidable as there was enough food but people had to pay there rent
the irish were persecuted and kept in poverty
the troubles in the north started because catholics were being denied civil rights by unionists
we have a long bad history of violence here including a war of independence and civil war
the rule was terrible and oppresive
but i don't think i'd mind being ruled by another country if there rule was good and fair
if however they were hurting me my friends or any ober.netters then they'd pay
don't worry i'd figure out some way to evacuate you to ireland
as long as non-resistance members didn't interfere with the resistance i wouldn't mind

i wouldnt like it. I want my country to be ruled by its people. Thats why I am against the Queen and her still having Australia under her belt, even if she doesnt really do anything leaderish to us.

I was thinking about this the other day, wondering what had happened to it. I'll vote for the idea coming back, and although I'm still keen to do a webpage for it, it won't be soon, because I'm still in the process of getting my internet back at home.
