*rants about malicious acts of senseless destruction* RIP the VL. It's almost too much to bear. Mick used to send me photos almost every week on mms showing me what new thing he'd done to it - whether it be just washing it or painting the interior vinyl with this expensive vinyl paint. He put so much work into that car. I'd just bought him a $400 head unit for xmas for it. He was doing so well in cairns, so happy about his life finally, and now someone's taken away the only thing he owned from him.
It just sucks, that's all.

I've just read your other thread! You have my deepest sympathies Min!
Whilst it has never happened to me (fortunately!) but it did happen to one of my friends.
Why do people do this???
One question: You said you didn't have insurance. Is that legal?

Wow. That was scary. I feel for you Flit. Poor Alex.....our computers name is Harry. Because its a HP Pavilion...HP my mum and dad took to mean Harry Potter, so ever since we got this computer (we got it for free, we were robbed a couple of years back. Mums still involved in an ongoing battle with her CDs that she lost). Anyhoo, don't fret Flit, Alex will come back all refreshed and shiney. And then he'll be even more special.

OML, do you like stuffed giraffes Flit?? I LOVE THEM!! I have heaps of them, and everyone thinks I'm weird not to like teddy bears, or sheep bears or whatevers normal these days! I've got teddy bears too though. I also like stuffed lions, theyre cool too. I love toys!! *laughs* Thats weird I know, but I make Play Dough and play with it, and make little things with it....I'm weird like that. I'll pretend to be all teenager-ish but I'm such a little girl at home and at heart.

*grugs* you poor thing, sounds like your sister can be a complete cow! its kinda like that with my step-sister actually, she gets all the guys and stuff and tends to treat them pretty badly too. i remember being over there one night and she was like "if he rings tell him im at a friends house watching movies and not to call my mobile" she was actually going out clubbing. i was soooo upset when i found out that this guy i had liked for about 3 years and was a total sweetie liked her.
people can be so mean, i didnt find a group of friends i really fitted in with until i was almost 16, and that was probably only because i changed schools and it still took me like 6 months to find that group of friends, i still talk to most of them now even though most of us are busy with work or study nowdays. i'm hoping to get them all together next month at my housewarming. which reminds me, must go back to the members only section to put a thread up about that!

well life seems to be going great you like this guy and he tells all your friends he likes you and that he is thinking about dating you and you really like him but he just wants to get to know you better and then yeah life will be good. you have fun and luagh together. then life takes a big turn and the guy when talking to you asks you not be upset and then tells you that he is going on a date with this other chick you know and then sits there and asks you for advice!!!! you sit there and give him some because you like him a lot and don't want o hurt him and hop the chick will hate him despite the advice and then he goes on and on nonstop about her. that has been my life tonight and it sucks to put it so mildly you can't even begin to know.

It always gets me, how you think you know someone so well, and then they completely surprise you by doing something really awful that you thought they could never do to you. Sometimes though, the more you think about it, the more obvious it becomes that they were that same person all along, and you just didn't see it. By the way, I can move your post to the Members Only section, if you'd prefer it to be there, Lauren?

Done! If anyone else would like to their more personal posts moved to the Members Only section, just let me know. Everyone needs a good rant to get stuff out at times, but if it's about personal stories that you'd prefer not to be viewable by just anyone, then I reckon the Members Only is a good place for that.

yeah i guess i see what you mean avra. to some extent what you say is true i just wish he didn't keep telling everyone he liked me a lot and was going to ask me out and then the next day he is like a different person because he is just friendly not the same flirty guy and he is going on a date with another girl. i think that was the thing that bugged me the most in the end was that. but i can't really fualt him for feeling as he does even though it kind of hurt.

Ive come to the conclusion that guys are completely unpredictable, and they're not meant to be understood by women. I'm quite sure their life ambition isnt to cause girls as much pain as possible, but to understand us. Sure, they have strange and often painful ways of doing this, but I think underneath it all theyre just as insecure as we are, and just trying to do the best thing at the time. Everything happens for a reason, and although we may not see it at the time, it'll trigger something else off that might be good or bad, but in the end I think we're just learning all we can out of life. So don't dwell on the past, think of the future, and if you ever need a boost of confidence, listen to the Sunscreen Song!! I live by that song. Well, try to anyway...
