What if Elspeth dies?

Anyway, I'd like to put forward the notion that Elspeth will, most likely, end up going on her quest in the very near future. Have we forgotten that once she goes on her quest and finally completes it, she cannot return to Obernewtyn? That means that if/when she bonds, if she ever wants to see her love again after her quest, then theywill have to come to her. So Obernewtyn will then be minus Dameon, Rushton, or[ some other guy. And how is Rushton going to leave Obernewtyn (permanently?). He's the Master. Doesn't that make him Mr. Can't-Ever-Ever-Leave-Obernewtyn? That leaves Dameon or some other guy. Think on it.

By the way, we keep referring to Elspeth as 'going' to go on her quest. But isn't she essentially already on it? I mean, she's diving under water, looking for ruins, going to Sador, chasing Kasanda, going on dreamtrails, meeting Guanette birds... if that isn't her quest, what is??

Oh, and Ariel seriously has to die.

As much as I like Rushton and Dameon, and I do, quite a bit. Dameon more than Rushton, although I like Rushton better with Elspeth. But then Dameon so sweet with his silent longing, so yeah... Swallow.

Dominic became cold to her but I think his motivation and intentions were honourable. He had seen terrible things done by the Council and saw how ruthless they were. He did what he did because he wanted to help stop them and did what he believed he needed to to do so, he didn't believe that it would have been enough to just do what Guildmerge/Obernewtyn directed. I think that Domick gets a bad rap that he doesn't deserve. He didn't ask for that awful situation he found himself in but he did his best to be responsible and true to himself in that situation. He didn't just run away and ignore it.

I like the underdog too, though I am yet to vote if I decide to.
