I'm figuring that everyone must have had pretty busy weekends, as it's been very quiet here! I know this, because I've been sitting at my desk all weekend, studying, and checking the boards every 30 minutes because I have no focus, will power or motivation to study So, what did you get up to? For the benefit of all those of us studying for exams and what not, delight us with tales of the real world out there this weekend, so that we don't forget what it's like! ;D

hehe...well, my weekend so far has been a big lazy one away from computers (except for now...because I just got up and Paul's still asleep and I'm bored ). Friday night, went to Paul's parents for sushi, Saturday didn't get up til after midday and then decorated Christmas envelopes for Paul's sister and her partner (well, for Paul's mum really - she's sending them stuff in Britain). Then Paul and I went and saw that Into the Blue movie (it could have been a whole lot worse!). Today we're *hopefully* going to the beach, if Paul ever gets up Avvy - STUDY!! lol.

I've been studying!
Stupid Critical Security Theory!
And I've been writing my 3000 daily words for NaNoWriMo. Only, last night I got to 2000 and it was 2am. So I stopped. I feel I showed wisdom.
Now, I've written 824 words of my 1200 word essay, so please excuse me while I go beat my head on the desk.
Kayt PS. I've eaten copious amounts of Shapes. Mmm... Shapes. Good study food!

Yesterday, went on a shopping spree tour. Today, homework, clarinet practice and homework. Also, *glares at Min* I can't remember the last time I actually slept past 9am... Or woke up feeling like I've slept, but that's a different story... Cat - kill these essays

I have been at my friends house all weekend. I basically live at their house, I am one of the family. Infact I am on their computer right now... Hurrah for their broadband! *hugs computer* I WOULD have been on holiday with my family. Going to see family friends that live a long way away. Their eldest son had his engagement party last night. However, I had to go and play in a concert with my flute ensemble (which I might add was pretty pointless, though I spose it gives us some practice.), and I couldnt go 'cause they had to leave before I got back. But oh well. I got to go to a local show (fete, fair, whatever you want to call it). It was fun. All livestocky and what-not. And homework now. D**ned flash 2004. I will make that goose run!

Friday night hung out with Lench and then took our dogs ( Micky the dalmation, who is mine, and Max the mutt who looks like a skinny gangly jack russell, who is Lench's) to a dog cafe and park for walkies and Micky was hyper and silly and stuff! Sat night went with my friends Emma and Caroline to see Sarah Mcleod at the Eastwood Hotel at 8pm. watched the two opening acts ( The White Room, who were damn good!!!! and The Exploders, who wernt so great) and the Sarah was on! i bought her cd as well and a shirt heheh!!! then met up with Lench and Rift and we did the round trip from gladesville to the airport via the eastern distributor and then through botany and san sousi and taren point to king georges rd back home. Today i woke up at 2pm which is late, even for me! and have been on here since 3 on and off talking to people! Had my next door neighbours, grandparents, and uncle and aunty over for dinner bbq stuff, and aunty, uncle and parents are playing pool at the moment and bagging each other out under copious amounts of alcohol hehehehe!! thats my weekend!* rocks on to Sarah Mcleod!*

I had a nice curry on saturday night with Laura and all my friends. Was very nice Sunday i had a nice relaxing day and sunday dinner at Laura's parents place, and then cuddled up in front of the TV Monday we had my house to ourselves so we spent the day relaxing and Laura cooked me dinner (a wonderful blue cheese risoto) Tuesday i opened lots of presents (YAY!) and spent the day down in Brighton (seaside town in the next county). In the evening i went round a mates house for beer and cigars. It was a most splendiferous long weekend!

hmmm what did i do.... i got my braces off which means ive now got a retainer (stupid thing makes me lisp) and i went to my friends party - lots of food and singing hymns at the top of our voices... i wonder why her friends looked at us weirdly no study, no more assignments, just compititions for chocolate

I really hate my retainer...not being able to speak properly has been very annoying (people told me I'd get used to it and I got better...but I still have a lisp with it in), although I am good and make myself wear it all the time...stupid retainer... Sounds like everyone had an interesting weekend, so I thought I'd start on next weekend because I know exactly what I'll be doing...same as last weekend...STUDYING!!...so I'm sitting down for the weekend to do some work, and letting the inevitable ennui that comes with it set in
