Today I rented a snowboard! Living in Switzerland definitely has an upside. Now, if only it would start snowing...

Oooh snowboarding in switzerland! Or should I say, soon to be snowboarding in Swtizerland? Sounds exciting at any rate! I spent most of Saturday getting the family (well kids, trisfits quite good at looking after himself) ready for a wedding. So lots of bathing and washing of hair and ironing clothes. Trisfit took the kids out for an hour while I cleaned the house. Then hastily showered, searched for highheals which were at the bottom of a very large removalist box filled with military boots. Got stuck pulling my dress over my head and would probably still be stuck if it wasn't for a handy husband. Before wedding hastily ran in to a homewares shop and grabbed closest set of bone china cups and ran out again. (after paying- I promise ) Went to the wedding. Bride looked gorgeous. Groom looked nervous (and happy). Saw lots of girls I had gone to school with and couldn't remember their names (quite embarassing ) We only went to the ceremony because we had no one to babysit. So we were back at home within an hour. And Mowing the Lawn! Today Early start and out straight away. Looking for a watch, Me trying (with no subtlety) to show trisfit the ring I want. Trisfit oblivious. Coffee mmmm and a muffin. To the markets. Pony ride for Eleanor. $15 trousers for me (bad choice it turned out to be). Trisfit scared of burning and Leo asking to leave. chance encounter with friends! Causes Leo to have anxiety attack and bite Trisfit. Poor Leo, (and trisfit) we say goodbye. Stay in car with Leo and play with him while Trisfit and Eleanor do some shopping. Leo needs to pea. So I take advantage of the fact he's a boy and He uses the closest pot-plant. In the afternoon Driving Practice. Kids fall asleep while I do endless reverse parallel parks and roundabouts. Trisfit cooks a Roast. Yum! Leo talks to Mum on the phone (That is a big Deal!) After food the kids go to bed. And here I am now. Gosh if you read all of that, you deserve something nice.

We only went to the ceremony because we had no one to babysit. So we were back at home within an hour. And Mowing the Lawn! Awww... I wish I was in town. Then I could have babysat for you Ellie and Leo are so much fun Gosh if you read all of that, you deserve something nice. Something nice!! YAY!!
Well my weekend was Dad, my sisters and my evil step-mother came up for the weekend cause it's Dad's 50th birthday. My sister and I went shopping in the city all day (we walked around the city for 6 hours) until Dad and co arrived. Visited Miska at work and bought presents for people for Chrissie mostly. Tried on a few things but only bought a white singlet top ($7! Bargain!) cause my other one got wrecked when it got washed with something red that ran.
Went to dinner at this Greek restaurant that was ok, but very noisey and majorly overpriced but Dad liked it. Stepmother refused to sit next to sister and then tried to suck-up. Ugh.
Sunday we went jet-boating on the harbour. It was really fun. But we didn't do many turns and we didn't get wet, which is what we were expecting and hoped for, but it was still really fun!! Then Dad and co dropped me back at college before driving home and I slept all afternoon.
Back to the study today Exams start next week YAY!! Squarmi

Ummm....I think the problem with going doof doof doof down the road is that it's associated with people that have low IQs and no life. Min is the exception cos she's gorgeous and smart

lol turks ;D true, too true. That's what going to the summernats is going to be all about - bringing some diversity to it And yes, we're planning on turning the sub around in the boot so we can get have it for music at NYE!! Paul'll also be bringing down his laptop for more music & dvds if you want? Um...it's...um...actually, I have no idea about the specs, really. I could guess, but I'd be pulling numbers out of the air. I think the sub is along the lines of a 12000W - ie, something really good (heard it in passing)? Paul (hoodfish) would be able to tell you everything about it. Good quality, but not top of the range. It's fun though

this weekend, well being in a place which has all of its shops conveniently located in one stretch of road about 200m long and most shops are actually pubs my weekends are almost always the same. (oh and also it has the second highest rainfall in the uk!) so yes i'm either stuck in a pub whilst it's pouring down with rain, or stuck in halls whilst it's poring down with rain, luckily i have the most amazing dvd rental place down the road (it has 10 000 dvds and videos how cool is that?) and it is a great town, very beautiful, just wish it wouldn't rain so much

no, it's actually 12000W. I checked. Paul got it at a very good price. I can't believe how much *more* there is to some songs that I never realised before. Normal speakers pick up { ---- } that range, this sub picks up { ------------------------------------------} if that makes ANY sense!! I was listening to Evanescence (Fallen) and jumped at all the rumbles...and I didn't have it very high in the volume department! It's not there to make more noise, it's just there to give the music a fuller timbre.
BTW, that link comes up with an error.

*has visions of causing a small earthquake at NYE* WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! Highly dooable!! ;D Though it may be considered an act of terrorism but it's so cool. There are bits of songs that I never realise existed now coming forth...some rumbles so low that you feel them rather than hear them... ;D I told Paul yesterday that I love his sub and I want to buy it off him. He said no he's keeping it, it's just in my car (til he gets one...which will be never at this rate! Huzzuh!!)

if you've got decent mid-range speakers and tweeters, you'll be able to hear the songs as the artists intended

Yeah, I didn't have though... Oops, I'm such a moron. The sub is 1600W not 12000W!! I don't know where I pulled that from! There's two amps in there or something that up the subs performance too... Anyway, how about those Broncos?
