i don't know. i have this feeling that that is it. its over. the end. i don't believe in heaven or hell, so i don't think that our souls go and rest somewhere for all eternity, but i think they do go somewhere...the collective unconscious maybe? i cannot say. but as far as the coming back to continue the journey, i think that once you have completed it, its the end for your soul, in a way. what you have learnt along the way may be of some importance to the souls who are yet to be born and grow.

Jung called the collective unconscious "a reservoir of the experiences of our species." He said it is part of a person's unconscious which is common to all human beings. It contains archetypes, which are forms or symbols that are manifested by all people in all cultures. They are said to exist prior to experience, and are in this sense instinctual. (from Wiki).

i kind of believe in that stuff aswell. it may be an explanation about de ja vu and teh idea of old and new souls.

It was like, this feeling i had had for as long as i could remember, this feeling of being older than i was, suddenly made sense. it was almost like a relief to hear it.

i think we are attracted to people who are at the same stage in their growth. so many of my closest friends are 'old souls' - we connected as soon as we met. i guess its like common ground.

your dreams sound amazing! i have had that too - i have dreamt from the point of view of someone other than me. it used to freak me out, but now, i duno. i'm used to it. it happens a bit.

I never remember my dreams. Ever. I assume I have them, but I haven't remembered one for eleven years or so. I always find it slightly amusing when people start discussing the 'importance of dreams', etc., because they certainly aren't important to me.

i have always believed that dreams are messages. that when we dream we are dipping into something bigger, something important. what we learn in our dreams may not seem worth remembering, but i think that deep inside our minds we do remember and recall those lessons. why would we have them if there was no point? it cannot all just be about brain chemistry, can it?

i like to think that dreams serve a higher purpose. i always try to listen to my dreams. detail is not important, like where i was or what i was doing, but the deeper truth of a dream needs to be considered.

because i like to think there is a reason other than our biological make-up for dreaming. i cannot say if this is true - i have no idea why we dream. its just that i feel there is some importance surrounding dreams.
