Hello,
Some of you may remeber me, others will not as i haven't been on in a while.
Anyway as some of you will remember I am a college student in Ireland.
I have just set up a pirate society in my college and would like members to post any ideas they have for that society
by the way its good to be back.
we already have a lot of ideas but more would be appreciated

I'm afraid I don't have any ideas, beyond wearing eye-patches and fancy hats, but I'd like to welcome you back to the boards! Are you going to stay with us for a little while?

Or, try training parrots. It'd be good for a laugh and if it pulls off, voila - pirates with talking parrots.

You could always remove one of your legs and replace it with a wooden stick, but that sounds painful, I guess it depends how much you really want to become a pirate...

You could have a pizza and pirate-themed movies night or a card/board games night but give all the games a pirate-y theme |

I've never dressed as I pirate, but I went to a marathon Lord of the Rings day dressed as a hobbit, and to the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy wearing my dressing gown. It's great fun if there's a whole group of you!

The uni medieval group dresses to theme for all our group movies We get the oddest looks but it's heaps of fun. Tonight they were going to see X-men3 but I couldn't go (grrr... silly assignments). Brisbane seems to have lots of dress-up things though- a few weeks ago there was even a zombie walk through Queen street mall with about 200 people dressed up as zombies |
