Im Dragon Mornir, of the good Dreamweaver guild, we have chocolate mousse (which is soooo much better than chocca in my opinion), Squirrels ( which are spectacularly superior to antelopes), and TV ( which is way more entertaining than dual flush toilets)!!!!

As you can see, this place is over run by Mystics... but we will soon set that right!!!

Oh yeah, should get round to doing this Newbie thing as well.

Um, when I was 14 I left Australia (born in Melbourne) to live in the Netherlands. I finished my high school education at an international school there and went on to complete an MA in English Language and Literature at the University of Groningen.

I returned to Australia last September, and have been trying to find suitable employment since then. Oddly enough, this country seems to have a silly bias against Arts students, and employers don't seem to understand that my degree was a native-speaker one: I may have studied at a Dutch uni, but all classes were in English, and the level of material we had to read, etc. was at native-speaker level. It's very frustrating when *some* people refuse to acknowledge this!

So, unfortunately, I've had to take up a casual job at Safeway (Woolworths), which is so utterly horrific and boring that I would rather visit the dentist everyday. Hopefully something else will turn up before I start accusing Woolworths of being the evil corporation they really are. For example, did you know that when the orange farmers in Mildura had to dump all their crops, Woolworths AND Coles were happily importing American oranges instead of supporting local farmers?

Anyway, it's nice to be here, because I usually post at a highly-political site, and this one seems to be almost completely void of politics! Good balance

:)WOW Look at meee!!!! I'm writing a message on a real life board!!! Hello everyone in case you haven't guessed i'm a newbie! My name's catwhisperer here and that's obviously because i really really want to be a beastspeaker!! i don't own a computer at home so i have to do this either at school or at my dad's work. when i came across this site i was really excited... yeah, that's right... i am as obsessed with Obernewtyn as anyone else i've seen here! my favourite book is Obernewtyn (the first one) and i love Matthew!!!! not quite as much as i love chocolate though. i suppose that's why i joined the crazy Wanderers guild, who just happen to not have an awful lot of points but anyway...
One day i want to be as successful a fantasy author as Isobelle Carmody (yeah right, Angie) but for now i'm conent to struggle through tenth grade (yeah right again, Angie, you're a self-confessed nerd).
