Hi everyone!Somehow I think I missed doing the [glow=red,2,300]Big Hello [/glow]here. Anyhow, I hope you are all doing fantastic!  I haven't done any message board stuff for donkeys years - I guess donkeys must live a long time! [shadow=red,left,300]So I'm having a bit of a play with all the new buttons we have to play with. I kinda pressumed this was the place to try (?)[/shadow] Anyhow... Hi Everyone! My name is Pip and I'm in Tassie. I can't decide who my favourite Obernewtyn character is (I don't like to play favourites  ) My favourite Obernewtyn book is probaby Ashling - especially "ravek my Elspethlove" Ashling definately gets re-read the most often. My favourite food is chocolate and fondue (I can even combine them to make a chocolate fondue if you like!) *passes around a big bowl of chocolate fondue* Ps. If anyone has a better name than Pippin, I'm open to suggestions (I don't even like the lord of the rings!  ) Below is just more "playing by Pippin" cause I want to see what all the effects look like. so this is a spoiler tag 'eh If I could write code it might look like this: hello code breaker!!I'm going to quote myself: Anyhow, here goes nothing! *presses the botton* pressing the botton in a different colour

Suggestions? Siryn is a nice name (i dont think you should have that name)
River is a lovely name, it's the name of my Horse and also, Summer's character (who is very cool.)
Valkyrie is nice too. there was an expensive aeroplane called the XB-70A Valkyrie, also its the name of another horse. Valkyrie's padock name is Sven -Sven is an odd name. better than pippin? -you decide
Ashling is my favourite book too!

Hi everyone,
I'm not really a newbie, just a returning member... just wanted to say that I'm not dead– I've been away because my computer is ancient and it hates this site and keeps crashing; and also because my thesis has turned into a vortex that has swallowed my entire life. Decided to drop by and see if there's any news on the Sneding– keepin my fingers crossed that my comp won't die on me! Hehe. Anyway I do think about you guys and I do miss you too :-( take care everyone

Hi everyone, I joined several days ago but work at the moment is flat out so having time to explore the site is limited. I don't have a particular favourite character, they're all great! I have to admit though that chocolate isn't my favourite food... I'm ducking away from flying chocolate!!! It does have its time and its place but I'm more of a savoury person. Aloha. Hi. G'day. Take your pick. I'm Emma, middle name Jayde... Guess that one will be pretty easy to remember. I'm 18, and hail from the delightfully sunny (not), water-deprived Central Coast of Australia. For anyone that doesn't know, it's smack-bang in the middle of Newcastle and Sydney, an hours drive to each. I first read Obernewtyn a long time ago. I was in year 3, way back in 1996. And I've re-read the series too many times to count since then. I joined today.. After poking around Wikipedia and finding the link to this site. I'm not really sure that I have a favourite book or character. I enjoyed them all. As to life, well, I'm a muso. I sing, and can play a bit of piano and guitar. Singing is my thing though... I've been learning for 10-11 years now, and I'm about to do my grade 7 exam. Should be grade 8 this year, but I didn't do and exam last year on account of year 12. I already had 6 pieces for my HSC, I really didn't need another 4 on top of that... And by singing, I mean classical, music theatre and occasionally some jazz. I also went to a performing arts high school, so attribute anything totally weird and random that I say/do to being a student in what quite possibly should have been a mental asylum.  I figure The Dreamweavers guild is a pretty safe place for me to join... I could quite possibly live off chocolate mousse, and have a wee obsession with squirrels. And I just wrote half a novel here... Feel free to poke me if I keep doing that.  |

hi there all. my name's gwenaelle. i live in wollongong and im part of a wonderfull group called the sca.(which is where my name came from because it is my medieval name) i like reading, (isobelle carmody being one of my preffered authors), as is eoin colfer, jkrowling, sally rodgers davidson, christopher paolini, darren shan and many others. i also like computer games(warcraft) and people( i live with 6 freinds), much fun (and tiredness  . favorite obetrnewtyn character is elspeth, she's super. my favorite book would have to be ashling because she and rushton finally get together , but i also like the fourth cos it has lots of good humour. my favorite colour is blue, favorite food is food. and yaeh:) |
