Hi everyone at Obernewtyn.net.
I've been a member for a while but have been completely inactive, even since i joined the mystics guild. But i though it was about time I contributed to this awesome website. I've never posted anything on a website so i really am a newbie!
So, a little about myself, I'm currently in Year 11, and I love reading, but I love the Obernewtyn books more than every other book ever written. I could never decide which book is my favourite though, they're all so good! If anyone ever asked me what was my favourite thing in the world I would say music, and i would love to have a career in that field one day.
2 days ago, I was looking for a new book to read in my school library, the first time i ever borrowed a fiction book from there (normally i get books from my local library) and the first book i picked up was Dragonlinks by Paul Collins and was shocked when i saw a recommendation from Isobelle on the front cover, so I borrowed it immediately. So far I really agree with her comment, it's a great book. Anyway, it reminded me that I hadn't visited this website in a while and i thought i should contribute.
I hope I'll get to know everyone and I'm excited about the Moonfair!
-Kath

Hi all, Just thought that I would introduce myself, My name is Shana hence the second half of "bresha" . I am 21, and living down in the 4 seasons in one day city of Melbourne. I only just found out about these forums today, and it was a pleasant surprise. I have been looking in on the main site for years waiting to hear about the release dates of books. It is so nice to find other people who share my tastes in literature. What instrument do you play kath?

Hola to those Newbies I haven't met yet! Why not make your way down to the Writersmerge for lovely chats on writing or pop in and try not to loose your head or any top deck you may be hiding and visit the loons in SR+
Now that shameless plugging is over with, do you study down in Melbourne, Bresha, or are you working? We have a large group of Obernetters down in Melbourne, it just keeps growing... Are you breeding obernetters down there?
Maybe they have labs.... mmmm......

Hi Shana and Sez
Shana, in response to your question, I sing. Do you play any Instruments? I love Melbourne, would like to go to Uni there one day but I'm currently a small town girl.
So, Sez, you love horses, do you own any? My sister used to have one when I was little.

In response to your question kath I play percussion with two bands here in Melbourne. It h as been interesting, have marched in the Anzac day parade twice now, and have been kept busy with all the gigs that come with being in a band. Another question. Classical or modern style with your singing? In response to your question Flit, I have just finshed a course as of three weeks ago, and am currently looking for work here in Melb. However very busy, one of my bands is moving house today and I am librarian, lots of telling people where to put stuff. . I also volunteer with a council in their archiving project, at least until I find work. I am one of those people who just have to do something. Welcome Sez! Sez, how long have you been playing Bass Guitar? I would love to learn another instrument one of these days, probably clarinet or maybe violin. My sister is sill heavily involved with horses, even has one of her own, what breed do you like the most? -Shana
