Welcome Pierlu! as Lucy said, its nice to have another Brit on here, plus you're now an Ashling, so that makes it extra special! Do you compete in athletics or are you just a spectator? i compete in shot put and hammer Scatterlings was published over here, but is now out of print. You should be able to find a copy in a good 2nd book shop. The one published by 'Point SF' was most recently published and should be easier to track down

Welcome Nark! You could: a) Join a guild (Ashlings, Dreamweavers, Mystics and Wanderers) The guilds are just groups within Obernet that make being part of this forum a lot more fun! They compete for points and have their own boards etc. (May I quickly add that the Dreamies are particularly welcoming ) b) Head over to SR+ (i think) where they have a board just for posting pics that obernetters have drawn c) Be careful of the theories board until you read the fourth book! Welcome again! Enjoy your time here Squirt

Welcome, good Nark! To join a guild, you need to go to the main Obernewtyn site and click on "Join Us". You can either choose a specific guild or you can opt to be given a random guild, if that's what you prefer. We'd love to see your artwork! There's a thread in SR Plus which is devoted to artwork. We even allow people to forgo the normal limits on image sizes in that thread, purely so we can enjoy what they're sharing with us. If you'd like to learn how to post images here, then check out this thread. You can also ask the friendly Ober.netters at Image Help for some assistance if you need it.

Sup Y'all! Hey, I'm new here (obviously, unless I get a kick out of pretending to be a newbie ;-) ) Thought I'd swing by and say hi, I was 'recruited' by a slightly overexited Ness after meeting her in a most respectful of respectful chatrooms I read the first book in the Obernewtyn Series several years ago, and instantly loved them... after reading them inside out, and learning them back to front, I slowly forgot about them, until I was told by Ness that there would be a fifth book. My Hobbies include Team Sailing, Gliding, Soccer, Computers, Books (duh...), DIY stuff, Kite flying, Roller blading (Or trying too), Music (Flute, Piano and Bagpipes), GarageBand, and lastly, 'chilling' (or so I'm told) with my friends... Well, I think I'll have to finish all the other questions later, mainly because I don't remember much about the book, but don't worry, I am starting to re read them again in preparation for the final book! See Y'all round...
