I loved my Year 8 English teacher too.
But I dont'like my new one..straight out of uni, come on, and they give her to Year 10s, I think they should've kept her to maybe the lower levels..not to be rude, but really..

My year 8 english teacher was the greatest, year 9 was ok, year 7 kinda sucked but year 10 is turning out quite well. However, year 8 was the GREATEST english teacher EVER.

I was in a book shop when I was about eleven with my oldest sister, shopping for a birthday present for my middle sister. I picked The Farseekers off the shelf at random, and my sister went 'Oh, she's read the first one in that series, you should buy it for her'. I did, and my sister became obsessed. Obernewtyn wasn't in my primary school library, but I went and found it in my first week of high school and became just as fanatical...
This was a few years before Ashling was released and when her only other novel was Scatterlings (possibly why it's also a favourite). It's almost twelve years since I read Obernewtyn.
*sigh*

I was bored to tears throughout primary school, so they used to send me to the library for "Quality Time". Going mad, i decided to read the library from A-Z, Mainly i just went through each section and read every book that caught my eye. I can't remember where i got up too, but i knew i didn't get to Z.... anyway, in C's, i picked up Carmody... I think that was in year 5..... in fact, i'm pretty sure:P

My older sister had to read Obernewtyn for Year 8 English. She loved it and made me and my mum both read. Now we're all hooked. I blame her for this incessant (spelling?) longing!!!

MY year 9 english teacher was the best!!!!!!!!!! ;D I also had her for sose in year 8 and I loved her then aswell! She was awsome! Last year we found out that she was not coming back to our school and my whole class went omething like this! "WHAT!!!! WHO WILL TEACH ME ENGLISH NOW? YOU CAN'T LEAVE YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHED IN THE WORLD!" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It was very emotional.....and was followed with a very bit 25 person grug! teaher disappeared for awhile ! Now I have to teachers and I don't like one of them that much, it is sort of annoying aswell having to change.

Don't get me started on english teachers
Last year I had this weird guy, who only ever gave me an A- And in year 7 I had two weird english teachers, the only good thing about one of them was that she made me read the Obernewtyn Chronicles ;D
But this year my english teacher is good

my best english teacher was yr 11, i recently found out where she was teaching and went to visit her, she rocked. though most of high school i had good english teachers, i know yr 9 and 10 i did, yr 9 was the best though, we studied psycho, and she introdced me to 10 things i hate about you. then again when its your best subject the teachers tend to like you ;D

Miss Woelfle was the Wud, Jess!!!
*high fives Jess for their kick-wud old English teacher*
Mrs. Arnold! (Our Year 10 teacher), she was awesome too!!! Remember when we did Macbeth? Yeah, that was brill!!!
But dodgy teachers. You remember our science teacher? What was her name Mrs. Sakimoto or something... she was psycho!
*then laments the home-ec teacher. You know what I'm talking about, Talmina, Dear*

im trying to convince my english teacher from last yr to read the ober chrons but she read obernewtyn and said she didnt like it!! luckily someone else i got hooked on it is trying to convince her to read the next one and hes much better a pursuading than me as to how i was introduced to the ober chrons....i found it in k-mart it was a toss between so much to tell you by john marsden (i think) or obernewtyn... obernewtyn won because it was thicker. Then i found the rest of the series in my school's library and became obsessed ;D

she was just an annoying cow, and she called everyone dear. and kayt should be glad she only ever had her for one subject at a time. there were two semesters where i had her for two lines, with only one line seperating them too

I’m not really sure why I started reading the Ober Chrons But I started when I was @ high school and then I couldn't put them down, it almost killed me to wait for The Keeping Place and now I/we have to wait for The Sneding I’ve put my foot down and I have decided that I am not ever, ever starting a chron again until the author has finished writing it ;D
