exactly, oh and raineth, i might try that with the lipgloss, im trying to convince her that her poor overloved kitten wouldnt spend so much time under there if there were monsters there. at least she doesnt think theyre in her cupboard. im also thinking of telling her that if she really is the superhero princess (i know, how cliched, yet adorable) that they would be scared of her anyway

Eli? Wow! I LOVE that idea! That's fantastic!!! Yeah... it all fits. And the Silent Vale... I've always thought it was heaps important that tiny scene where she chucked the rock down. That's so cool.... I'll bet that's right!

Oh and I just found out that Julie McCrossin interviewed Isobelle Carmody the other day. I downloaded it and it was a cool interview. But More about Little Fur and how it came about and her philosophy on writing. Anyway you can go to the ABC Radio National website to get it. Like this ABC Radio National Life Matters section then scroll Down to IC interview. I suppose I really shopuld just put the link up. If anyone is interested I'll do that. So just tell me. Double-posting... sorry... but just wanted to add that I listened to this interview and it was fantastic! It's 18 minutes long and only in audio form. And unfortunately it doesn't mention Obernewtyn at all. BUT... it's brilliant listening to IC talk about her inspiration and her childhood. The best bit was that she was asked what the overarching theme of her novels is. Her response: something like "Why are people the way they are? What are the seeds sown in children and adolescents that shape their future?" eg why do some kids turn out to be mother theresa and some turn into hitler? what influences people to become who are they as adults? I encourage everyone to listen coz it's great. (especially coz I'm such a huge fan this was just wonderful to hear her talking about what she does best!) I just went to the site and it said that Audio is only available for the past two weeks. I can't seem to find the transcript either. This is the only thing I could find related to it, and it's just a description of the interview. www.abc.net.au/rn/talks/lm/stories/s1435587.htmCan anyone help please? Thanks.

oh sure, IC says is not ther pig just to confuse us. i think we all know her game. i mean if she replied to the question, "yes it's the pig, it's always been the pig" then we'd be cross. well i'd be happy but somebody would be cross: example a) yes i know that's like five years later then any other comment about the pig but i wasn't here then was i? i was way, waaaaaaaaay over there.' it's the pig. gotta be.

This is so hard now. Who haven't I guessed to be the destroyer?? Almost no - one! And I'm cranky because of the pronounciation of Innle. I pronounce it as; In - nal. *slight frown* Who cares, I'm still going to pronounce it as I always have pronounced it. And the destroyer is Ariel - so there - mwahahahaha!!!!
