has she said that theyre definately human. my bf had an insane theory the other night when i was trying to explain ober to him that it was atthis, or another of the agyllians. well no ones outright suggested them and we are running out of unsuggested characters arent we
EDIT: yes i am getting desperate for unsuggested characters and no i dont really believe it

She said someone that's unchanged throughout the whole series, so that could be someone main like Dameon or someone a bit more minor like Ceirwan or someone really minor like absolutely no one I can think of since I've only read the series once...

Well, I've been pronouncing Innle incorrectly for too long to change now. Never min, eh? God knows what else I'm mispronouncing.

maybe she's just trying to throw us off course.
"someone we haven't suggested"... maybe she'd talking about the chief candidates as surely everyone has been suggested already
So henry druid seems a good guess.
But maybe it's that daughter of his (erin?? sorry... can't remember... it's been too long!) or someone really quite random!

just a step of logic.

This is so exciting.
OK, facts:
The Destroyer is male: (You are the Seeker, he is the Destroyer, Farseekers.)
The Destroyer is human: (But I have foreseen that there is another funaga whose destiny is to discover and resurrect the machines., same passage.)
I think that saying that the Destroyer is someone we've never guessed doesn't mean someone we've never guessed, because at some point or another every single male human character in the chronicles has been suggested, but someone who we argue about frequently. So that probably rules out:
Ariel
Matthew
Dameon
Daffyd
Swallow
um... anyone else? Jes we know isn't, because she confirmed that he's dead.
So... I don't know, I think as long as it isn't someone totally sideline, like Lidgebaby, then I'm leaning towards Rushton. We've never really considered him because we already know what his role is - he's the love interest. He might have two roles, though.
But I'm pretty confused. I was campaigning pretty loudly for Daffyd.
And by the way: My housemate just came in and showed me Little Fur, and I'm kicking myself. I didn't go to the launch because I thought it was another picture book, and since I didn't want to buy a picture book, I thought it would be hypocritical to go to the launch. But I so wish I'd been there! Apart from all these revelations, the book looks really cute!

actually when she met dani back in march she confirmed that jes may not be quite so dead after all, but we can rule him out as the destroyer hasn't changed since she started work on obernewtyn
shouldnt we have a "who isnt the destroyer" thread or something on the theories board to discuss this?

hey frankie, if the audio thingo isn't working, how big is it? We could host it on obernet, or I could host it on obernewtyn-theories for you, if you want? I can't wait to hear it!!

Put it in a transcript. Or, if you can't be bothered, email it to me, I volunteer to type it all out. It would probably easier for everybody to access if it's in a simple written form, and you can always put the audio version up as well.
But not everyone can access audio, so a transcript is a good idea.
