I'll stick with the tweezers, I think. Because it's cheaper and you can at least parcel the pain into small pieces.

I don't think it makes them grow back slower, just finer so it's less noticalbe or something? And it's only with repeated waxing, but let's face it, how many people do it more than once?!!Ah, going with "revenge is a dish best served cold" there, are we?

I've been having my eyebrows waxed sionce I was 10. I prefer it to plucking because a) it's faster and b) I don't have to do it all the bloody time. Eyebrows hurts less than legs, and legs aren't that bad. Legs are just annoyign cause it takes so long that by the end the pain starts to actually hurt. Eyebrows don't hurt. Trust me, I have forests pulled out each time. Most of the time the hair I get ripped out is equal to or more than the hair left behind, and I don't end up with thin eyebrows by ay stroke of the imagination. Cat - you're a bunch of sissys

im with cat on this, ive got stuffed up nerves in my legs which are hypersensitive to pain, and waxings still not that painful to me that i wont get it done again the only reason i shave my legs when i do is cos im desperate to get them done and mums too busy to wax them for me. and eyebrows at least for me is like one really quick pluck.
and the more you get it done the easier it gets
though i do recommend that the room is fairly warm before you do it though, and DONT under any circumstances do it at that time of the month or just before youre due, cos thats when it does get painful

Yes, i've had my legs done at that time... THAT hurt...
I've also had my legs done when they were nicely cold too. That hurt rather a lot too. And the beautician couldn't get the wax off half of my legs because they were too cold...

Im alright with the waxing of eyebrows, I just loathe waxing legs. Yeah, theres just certain things that hurt more than others to me. Im pretty good with burns. If I get burnt badly, like with boiling water or hot metal, it just stings for a second or itches for a little while and thats it, and if i get a bad cut sometimes i wont feel it happen or notice at all, until I see the blood But leg waxing Maybe I just need to get used to it. I've only done it a couple of times, and I only did it the first time cos my friend was amazingly enthusiastic about it Dont know why i did it, my leg hair is gold coloured

Yeah, I'm beginning to think I might have an allergic reaction to the wax or something that they use.. Either that or my forehead skin is extra sensitive, because it was red and bobbly and still somewhat painful 24 hrs later..
