It might have been too hot and you got burnt. That happened to me one time to.
Actually, most painful waxing I've ever had done was after i'd torn two ligaments in my ankle. I, of course, waited till it all healed (waxing a black bruise would not have been fun...) but because I'd had an injury all the hair had grown like double time there (cause your body makes everything at an injury grow fast which is how it repairs). That bl**dy hurt...
