we have very different views

so what do you think is cute

what is your defintion of cute

I like things like guinea pigs and hampsters..i think they're cute.

Feline falls under my "cool" file. Miniature ponies can be cute. I cant wait til the Council gives me permission to get my own one

How can snakes not be cute? They're so adorable!

I was once told that cute means ugly but interesting. But whatever the case, it has to be small. Small and fluffy or small and spiky (I suppose lizards can be classified as spiky).

I don't see wolves, german shepherds, horses, tigers or any such thing as cute. Something that size has to be prettiful or beautiful. But not cute. Cute is diminishing their value.

personally i don't think i could define cute

i think i'd just think of certain things as cute

and reptiles and canine type animals are the top two

and snakes are adorable- so cute
especially the tongue flicking thing

Bunnies are cute! Why has no one said bunnies! I love bunnies!!!

By the way, Omega, I asked my mum and my brother what's cuter, a german sheperd or a bunny and they both looked at me like I was mad. Then they said "Bunny, duh", basically.

Cute is baby-like features. It is a reflex, or a genetic trait more like, in creatures, humans included, so that their babies are cute enough to inspire protectiveness by the mother. So cute is linked mainly to baby-features. which is why, in humans the actors who are labled as 'cute' tend to have a feature like this. so big eyes or lips. Boyish faces and all that....well, that's always been my understanding off it, but that's coming from biology classes....so colin firth is handsome, but orlando bloom is 'cute'

i think dogs are cute, even german shepards in fact, my bro thinks im crazy whenever i see any massive dog, about the same size as me, and say its cute. but they are!!!
i dont mind reptiles, but i get freaked out when i see goannas or komodo dragons *shudders*

Baby animals are cute:D But thats only because if you look at an animal with a high forehead and widely set apart eyes, your brain releases endophines into your body

secondly i think we seem to be working on different definitions of cute

for instance i would definitely describe reptiles as cute

baby humans are so cute. (well not immediately after they're born, and generally not when they're crying, but they're cute the rest of the time) all babies are cute, whether human or animal. anything that just makes you go awwww.... so adorable...

Baby animals that i do think are cute, are things like rhinos, elephants and hippos.
They're so grey and baggy sknned ;D Gotta love 'em

But puppies are (my dog is 10 months old and very cute ), foals, kittens, basically any baby animal.
