i find some reptiles, such as blue tougne lizards cute, even when my friends one tried to climb down my top it was still cute. oh and my pet (ok semi wild that i was trying to tame cos it decided to move into my house) water dragon was adorable, it used to sit on my hand or shoulder when i was on the computer.
i find a lot of things cute though so yeah its hard to define, and i think cute is different for everyone

i'm not a huge fan of the reptiles though i'm sure lots are cute as babies...
i'm with the fluffy animals (and dogs of all sizes) and human babies are very cute!

im lazy and cant be bothered to read thru it all...so my definaition of cute is anything harmless looking, with big loveible eyes that u just want to cuddle! and if u cant u start making really wierd noises! most of the time they are fluffy

cute is the face my cat is wearing when he wants his breakfast! He sort of opens his whole expression up and stares at you with huge eyes (my cats eyes change shape, from slanty to round and i've never noticed it before with other cats) and gives you the most darling look that says "pleeeeeeease feed me i'm sooooooooo hungry i will die if i don't eat" then he chirps and smooches my hand!!
it makes me go Awwwww and give him a big cuddle!!
but maybe its not really cute. maybe its pure manipulation cause he knows what he looks like, i'm sure of it....

one of my cats bit me once when i didn't feed it on time! i was sitting on the lounge relaxing and he came up next to me and meeped loudly and i ignored him and he bit me on the arm!! really hard!!!
i often wonder what would happen if i refused to feed them! they don't go outside so they couldn't hunt down their dinner but would they decide to hunt me??? i dunno...
*looks suspiciously at her cats who are sitting on the floor licking themselves*

My cat wouldn't even bother to hesitate. Sure he'd eat me, no problem.
I don't trust that cat as far as I can throw him.

Our ex-cat tried to eat Trisfit even though we fed him.
I agree with Flit's explanation of cute. I think sometimes cute is said in place of "adorable", it is shorter after all.
