I finally figured out how to do a sig myself! It's SOOOO scary once you actually find out how.

But if we'd ignored it, we wouldn't have been able to help you. Do you have your award image saved to a free image host (ie. PhotoBucket)? If you do, you should be able to follow Miska's instructions. Methinks Elspeth needs to post a "How To Do Sigs" thing in the Message Board Lore. We'll all help you, Duria. Ok, I'm going to zip away from the point of this thread at 100 mph, but I wanted to post this, but didn't want to start a new thread, so this seemed an ok place to put it since there wasn't a proper subject to begin. I've just been reading a bit of Darksong (after not looking at if for aages - bad me) and there's a bit where says : "That will put a cat among the pigeons". I couldn't help but pick up that, as far as I am aware, there are no cats or pigeons on Keltor. I know it's just a daft little mistake but it really jumped out at me!! Picky, yes, but just wanted to post and see if anyone else noticed/cared/spotted anything similar/wants to call me pathetic. That is all. Back to the sig!!! |

Oooo, the character being Soonkar btw - meant to check the spelling and forgot completely to put it in at all! It's about two thirds of the way through - just in case anyone cares, when he and Ember are at the dock in the crowd drinking kind of hot choc stuff. No one cares I know, but I'm bored! Gonna read some more... Back to sig! |

It's shocking, isn't it Brydie? I have a few suspects and I'll be having firm words with them later.  And Lucy - I remember thinking exactly the same thing when I read that passage! There were heaps of little errors like that in Darksong and I think someone was making a list of them a while ago, to send to the publishers for the next printing. |

In response to possible spoiler -don't you think Ember might have noticed (at the time he said it). I mean, we as simple readers did, so she, as a main character and therefore far superior, should have! Hehe. Not that I'm mad about it or anything, jsut noticed |
