Lol, thanks Elondriel, and good luck with the assignment! I just got some work brought home for me and its about the structure of paragraphs..I mean, we covered that kinda stuff in year 5!! Grr....not boasting here, but sometimes it is sooo annoying because academically not-challenged. But, as I am constanty told by my unfortunate sister, its a lot harder being academically challenged.
Oh my Lud, speaking of piercing, I havent worn any earrings for weeks, and I thought they grew over this afternoon! Coz Im, like, a total needle freak! I hate them, and I passed out when I had my ears done so I was totally scared Id have to get them done again!! But they werent, so that was good. My sister came back from her holiday with her belly button done.

Why is life so unfair? why does god do certain things when he knows how much pain they will cause? Why do vets have to be so friking expensive that no one can afford anything? 1 week ago my dog was fine. Hell man, we celebrated her 9th birthday just on friday. Then she is sick, we take her to vets... has a serious uterus infection, needs to be operated on or she will die...just a matter of time. $1000 later, she is supposed to be fine, so in she goes on friday afternoon. Saturday morning i get a call at work.. is mum. No, they cant operate cause turns out she has diabetes. so it will cost minimum of $3000 to stabalise her and operate plus $1500 a year for insulin. And chances are that she wont live till christmas cause the infection stuffed her liver up. We had no choice but to put her down. Bloody hell, she was the best dog ever. Now she's gone and her brother cant understand where she is. He's so lonely. She was supposed to be fine, home on saturday afternoon, now i'll never see her again.
Farewell pixie... we loved you....
And i can't talk to anyone cause a few months back i cut off my supposed friends of 10 years (different story entirely). And my best friend is at her sisters hens weekend. Can't spoil her happiness and fun. Why does everything happen 2 me? Why did she have to die? She never did anything wrong.
Why is life so sh!t?

awww *hugs* that's so sad. My cat was 9 when he had to be put down 'cause of vet's fees. It's horrible. Absolutely heartbreaking and I cried for days -argh now I'm going to cry again. He was the loveliest cat though and I never got to say goodbye cause my parents had him put down while I was at my Dad's because they knew I'd make a fuss. I guess I'm just trying to say I can understand how you feel and it's so unfair and sad and horrible and people expect you to get over it but animals like that become one of your best friends and it's just so UNFAIR and horrible. *hugs*

oh elondriel! That's so sad. A similar thing happened to my dog Jet, some years ago. He was only 2 years old. Was fine one day, then just stopped eating. We tried looking after him for about 2 days, keeping him isolated from the other dog, rugging him up. Took him to the vets and they said he had angina. They kept him overnight to see what they could do about it. Cost a fortune, but it was my baby! They kept him for another two days, getting liquid food into him. He was getting better - started walking around and looking brighter - we were going to go pick him up from the vets that afternoon and then suddenly we got a phone call - he'd had a seizure and died. I hate it, no one was even with him when he went. It was so unfair, he was the most loving, gorgeous, sweet-natured bear-like dog, and he was gone. Sorry. I totally sympathise. There's no one to blame, I guess all we can think of is the good times we had with them. And if there IS a god out there...well, I want answers, if I ever get to meet him/her.

Oooh, Elondriel, my dog died in August! She had to get put down as well. She was so good, and the worst she ever did was leave hair all over the place! I know how you feel. *grugs*

I HATE MY HIPS AND EVERYTHING THEY STAND FOR!!!
Why can't they behave themselves? They're really painful today, which isn't fair, because I haven't even been doing an unusual amount of walking. I know I should see a chiropractor or something, and I know it's my own fault for never bothering, but I'm going to rant anyway because they HURT!!! And I did get them x-rayed, honest, and nothing turned out to be wrong with me!
Silly things. They always get worse in Spring. I think it must be the change from cold weather to warm.
Honestly, if I have aches and pains like this going on now, what's it going to be like when I'm 90?

*grugs Kayt* It's ok kiddo. I'm 23 and have the body of a ninety year old. I think its fairly common. You know what works great? Hot water bottle.

You should see me going up stairs. I'm sure it must be painful to watch, too. It sure as hell isn't a whole bunch of fun to do. On the up side, at least I can walk normally on flat surfaces. Not that there are that man of those around... I suppose, in theory, there's someone out there with the perfect body but I don't know them, can't confirm that they exist and I DEFINITELY know they're not the norm. What I mean is: * grugs Kayt* * and Turks*

I'm bored. I am sick of work, I'm sitting here, and I'm bored with it. So glad it's Friday. But what's with today? I've actually been chewing my nails!! Something I haven't done since I was about 12. Why would I just all of a sudden start chewing them? that's IT, get your thumbnail out of your mouth Melinda!!! So now I'm going to have to go out and buy some fakes and try fix it all. yuk.
*double sulks*
Ah, and Kayteth - I sympathise. I've got the back of a 50-year old, according to my phisio. If it's bugging you all the time though, you should see someone about your hips, either that or take nurofen...

*grugs* to Elondriel. I too lost my beloved dog this year. It was cancer and there was nothing that could be done, but still... He too was just supposed to go in overnight, but then we had to make that awful decision. *has a little weep in sympathy* And poor Kayt!! ack! I get the pains in my ankle these days from where it was broken many years ago. I swear I feel like a nana in the cold weather. Nurofen... and heat packs usually does the trick. And a hug for Min too! bad habit that! I chew on a substitute - the plastic stick from chupa chups. Works a treat - although you may look a litttle silly

hips suck!!! just do what i did get them replaced ;P otherwise, hot water bottle, or better still electric blanket, did a gp look at the xrays or did you get shipped off to a specialist? i'd ask to see a specialist, if you want i can pm you the name of mine, the waiting lists are a bit long but he is great, and really looks into stuff before he makes a decision
EDIT: this isnt right, a pair of 19 yr olds talking about getting hips fixed and specialists etc....
