Well, if anyone is interested, I just heard the name of the next Harry Potter book on Sunrise. It's called......*Drum roll*.............'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'. Ta da! So, anyone have any ideas as to who the half-blood prince could be? I also heard that his identity will be kept a secret for like, most of the story. But it can't be either Harry, Ron, Nevile, or Malfoy, cos they are all full bloods. Hermione is a girl, so it's not her either........hmmmm, got me thinking now. Oh, and the title has been confirmed by JK Rowling too. Cool huh?

First thing I thought when I heard that was Hagrid...he's a half-blood giant right? But I dunno - my friend Amie reckons it could be a new character - JK is into adding new characters into every book. Maybe it'll be the new DADA teacher  Other than that yeah, it'd have to be someone who's of Muggle x pure-blood... And prince of what?! Britain? Hogwarts? Thieves? Very cool anyway...I'd heard it was Green Flame Torch... |

OH HAGRID!!!! YES!!!! that would be SO good! I love hagrid! hes so lovable!!!! and i wonder who the new dada teacher will be....who was it in the 5th book there was umm 1. quirrel 2. that silly self obsessed guy...um locket? 3. lupin - i loved lupin!!! 4. ummm the guy with the wierd eyes 5. oh yeah! harry did his own DADA classes!!!! wooooo go harry!! |

Lockhart
Lupin
Moody
Umbridge
So who knows who the next will be. I'd love to see Lupin make a come-back.

really! thats so cool! i'd heard it was 'harry potter and the revolt of the mudbloods' ooh that would have been cool because i BET hermione would have been very involved in that! hmmmm.....could the prince be some background character like colin creevy or someone? he's a half-blood, in the second book he was attacked by the big starey thingy...
and harry isnt pure blood because his mum was a half-blood, so he has some muggleness in him...i heard that his green eyes were going to be really important in the next book, did anyone else hear that? apparently we're gonna find out something really important about lily potter - oooh i cant wait for it to come out! i hope it doesnt take ages like the last one!!! grrrr

Ooo cool. It seems a little weird since royalty of any sense has been mentioned. Awful thought what if it is voldermort? He is halfd blood.*shudders* unlikely but still scary.

MEGANA! I love you! I was at work this afternoon, and the radio is always on, they were in the middle of saying that Rowling told us what the new title is, and went on to say... The New Harry Potter Book is going to be called, Harry Potter and....................... ARGH! right at that moment some guy walked in the door and it makes a big loud noise cause they're the moving dorrs, and I missed out on the title. I was crushed! Now i'm all happy! Love you Megana! Hmmm.... Half-Blood Prince... Prince eh? literally a prince? Cause then I'd have to guess it's a new person.

Half blood Prince.......well, after reading the msg that I think Emerald put on the main board relating to this same topic, I'm beginning to think that it's someone who has been around for a while. I think Emerald said that there were clues about who it was in Chamber of Secrets, which automatically made me think of Colin Creevy. Don't know why, but I thought of him. I also heard ages ago that the 6th book was gonna be called 'Harry Potter and the mudbloods revolt' as well, but meh, guess it got changed, or wasn't true in the first place. And I want Lupin and Sirius to come back too! Lupin was cool, and I don't care if he's dead, Sirius HAS to make an appearance in the rest of the series! Did anyone else almost cry when Sirius died? It was so sad, and Sirius was the best!  |

The absolute worst thing about Sirius dying was that he was there one second, then...gone. I was like - what the...?! Where is he? It was the same as Harry's reaction. Sirius' death was like an anti-climax (in how it happened, not as a plot event!)...then it sunk in.

I knew he was going to die. I got a spoiler! My firend told me someone died, and I was so terrified it would be Arthur Weasley I made her tell me who it was, and well... SORRY ARTHUR BUT I WISH IT'D BEEN YOU!!!

I cried my eyes out when Sirius died. i just sat there in shock for about 5 minutes, then yelled out 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!'

no no no arien you be confused. Rowling specifically said the HBP is NOT Voldemort or Harry. But, as some people have been saying, it might be Tom Riddle, because he's not Voldemort. I cant be bothered explaining that, so I'll leave it as it is.
I'm thinking it's a new character, possibly the new DADA teacher.
