i dont mean to interupt the flow of the conversation or anything, actually, yeah, i do,
Min, Kayt, HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT RUSHTON IS MEAN??
O.K, correct me if im wrong, but wasnt Rushton trapped in a Herder cell for almost te entire book? And now your going on about how he wasnt there for her?!!!!
and Rushton doesnt try to change her!! her trys to keep her safe, which i admitt, can be annoying, but he loves her soooo much that he wants to protect her from harm.
and of course he has insecurity issues, for, one, hes engaged to one of the most powerful Misfits there is, when he has no real power himself.
that would be like dating the Presidant or something. sure some people would feel proud of that, but most would feel absurdly un-equal compared to them.
and two, hes just been locked in a dank, dark Herders cell, full of dead people!!!!!! how would you feel after that?!! evrythings not gonna be right as rain after that kind of situation.
i'll rage on about this later

all:*cheers* d**n right! Rushton just feels out of place because he's with all these misfits without strictly being one himself. He loves elsepth, but just doesn't understand her because elf wont let him. Poor Rushton. Now he's slightly delusioned & has become very timid. *sobs*  But he'll probably become a better leader because of it |

EXACTLY! You guys understand! Rushton has a hard time feeling like he belongs, not being a real 'misfit' and being their leader.
Its hard for him, to have been shunned so harshly by elf for sooo many years, she was openly brutal to him, and now that he FINALLY has her love it would be hard for him to see her riding into danger!
Geez, give him a break!

i think we've finally made silence on the boards.
Anyway if anyone wants to come and redeem there Dameon arguement here this;
Dameon had his chance in Obernewtyn and TKP. He could have taken her in Obernewtyn before she even believed she was in love. And if there was anytime to take her TKP was the time to. Rushton wasn't there at all. There is NO hope for Dameon now!!!

I think more importantly dames knew how elf felt, not just Rushton.
Honestly, if he knew that elf had feelings for him he would have stepped up and taken the girl!!!
My golly gosh! Dames is the Empath Guildmaster for lud sake! He can feel all of these things, and knows that its not right for him and elf.

It would be sooo nice if Dames really loved elf. but if he actually did it would all be wrong! I don't want dames to be all sad because his love is someone else's love! Rushton for Elspeth! they go together always! If dames did love elf, than the only way to solve that problem is for dames to die, then elf gets all sad but still loves rushton... Bah!  |

yeah dames does love elf, and once you know about it and go back and read the books, its really rally obvious.
Im sorry to say but Dames will just have to be sad when it comes to elf, though hopefully one day he will get over her and find someone for yhimself..
I dont think he'll die though. That'd be so awful!
