Well, I actually remembered to do this!! For those people who said they'd like to be involved, here be the thread where you can anonymously leave little messages for the person you have. It seems that I am the first to submit my letter. I am only doing it now so that Brydie can read it before christmas as i will be unable to see a computer at that time! I wish all of the others who have participated in this Secret Santa good luck with their letter writing! But for now, Brydie, Here is your Secret Santa present! Brownie and her Elves! ***** To dearest Brydie, Brydie, Brydie, Brydie…where do I begin? You are such an amazing person that even Elspeth herself would not know where to begin searching your enchanting mind. Well I guess the start is a good as place as any. The start. On the sixth of September, 2004, Brydie registered to the Obernewtyn Forum as we now know it. When the young Brydie clicked the Register button, did she realise how much she would be loved in a few months? I do not think that I will ever know. But even before the beginning of this forum, Brydie was a busy bee like human on the old forum. Her mind creating so many theories on everything imaginable, from who the destroyer is, to the mysterious where bouts of Miryum. I wonder if Brydie can recall this paragraph of typing. I freaked out when I first read that, because I misunderstood it. I thought the rebellion would set it off again, and that would be the end of it.
I forgot about it after a while, but just remembered it...could the rebellion be big enough to set the sentinal off again?This interesting paragraph is I believe the first post Brydie ever submitted to either of the forums. Posted on the tenth of October, 2003! Onto the more recent past. Brydie has been a 100% involved with being a wanderer. With her entries into the Writing comp, to helping with the 2004 Moonfair, the Wanderer Guild is lucky to have Brydie as a member. But really I cannot picture as anything else! I for one know that I would be lost without Brydie. Why it was her that persuaded me to pick up Obernewtyn in the first place! And I have never regretted her decision to bring me into the clutches of Isobelle Carmody. But Brydie is more than a reading advisor; she is a magnificent, wonderful, superb, breathtaking, overwhelming, splendid, impressive, inspiring, astonishing, fantastic person and friend! With her wondrous screenplays to the writings that inspired me and I believe others to pick up a pen, or turn on the computer. Speedily she has climbed the ranks of misfit ratings, and as I write this she is currently a Sender of Ashlings, but soon, she will gain another star/stocking. But she is not all serious, but I venture to say far from it. With her disguises of Rilla and Miska, what will come next? She is a cunning trickster Brydie! Brydie, there are not enough words in the English language to describe how much apart of the Obernewtyn community you are. May you always be kept in safe health, and always smile through life!
