Cooool bananas, tah fer the info! Sorry to get everyone's hopes up like that, but I simply couldn't remember if that particular rumour had been proved right or wrong. And if the launch is in Melbourne, count me in!! I love that city! I even have the gyspy earrings and everything...

And I'm sure we'd be able to figure out a way to get the tattoo from the tattoo comp painted on our arms...maybe...that'd be great!

I just hope it happens in the next two and a half years... I can't see myself being in Melbourne any longer than that, and even though a roadtrip would be fun... I'd still rather be able to hop on a tram to get to the launch

And what if it happened while I was traveling! How sad would that be. That's my next plan after uni, so I just really hope she doesn't delay too long.

Still, I'll look forward to the 3rd Worldgate book. Does anyone know how many there are supposed to be? Is it just a trilogy?

omg YES!! the launch will be so much fun, how exciting. It would be like a real moonfair, with everyone coming together to celebrate.

Dressing up would be coool too, Isobelle put her own theme on a launch i went to (the where an animal tail one, was that for Billy thunder?).

Dressing up is always fun, and I do it regularly for choir camps and balls (and Harry Potter opening nights). I think my weirdest costume has been a triffod.

Just thought I'd mention.... I just got a letter from Isobelle Carmody. I wrote her one recently just to tell her thanks for writing the Obernewtyn Chronicles. I asked about how the Sending is going... I think other people have heard the same thing:

"The book I am writing now is called Alyzon Whitestarr... I am very close to finishing the book, and my next project is to finish The Obernewtyn Chronicles with the final book, The Sending. I've been working on it over years, but it will at last become my primary project."

So I think The Sending coming out by the end of NEXT year would be optimistic. But I'll definitely go to Melbourne for its release!

By the way, I have a lot of respect for IC for writing back to me... It was a hand written letter and of course she didn't have to take the time to do it, but she was lovely enough to do so. I'm very grateful.
