hello. . .. ... .... ..... ...... ....... ........ .......... ......... ........ ....... ...... ..... .... ... .. . ok, here's whats going on in brydie's life at the moment. 1) a girl in maths today started hyperventilating and the teacher did nothing but tell the class to stop asking questions. 2) my dad is teaching my oldest little brother to play the guitar. me and mum and das found it amazing that he learned so many songs so quickly. then i realised why he's so good. its because he practises...and practises...and practises...and practises...and practises...and guess who doesnt get any sleep at night? yep, good ol' me. 3) WE'RE GETTING A POOL! u guys should see it, its HUGE! and DEEP!! ooh i cant wait till its finished! 4) i have a cold and my nose is blocked and i cant breathe. 5) WOOHOO!! FIVE-DAY WEEKEND!! 6) olympics start soon. just in case any of you have forgotten. 7) i've been looking for a book called the firebrand by marion zimmer bradley for the past year or so. i recently came to the conclusion that it doesn't exist in the little world that is brisvegas. so if anyone who doesnt live in bris has access to said book, can you plz let me know? i'll magically transport myself to your world and steal every copy. 8) ekka. yay. how 'fun'. lots of smelly animals..people...expensive showbags...big crowds...is a total rip-off...what could get any better? 9) WERE'E GETTING A POOL!
so! i think thats about it...i could always start complaining about school...teachers...brothers...ekka...but i think you guys already know all about that! oh, that reminds me -
YVETTE!!!
anyone seen her lately?? i want her to come and teach at my school. maybe she can raise the standards a bit.
dinnertime, yay...sausages again ;D ;D ;DCya!!!

I saw her yesterday but I'm trying to keep her. Perhaps we could arrange some sort of temporary loan? P.S. All your other stuff is fascinating. I can't even swim, but I'm still jealous of your pool.

If I can, I could post it to you. I'm usually pretty good at trackign down books for customers. Though, some of hers are out of print which may make it a bit more difficult..... But I'll look in to it if oyu like.

I can't swim either, and I'm treated like a freak. Huzzah! We shall both drown together! Actually, I can float quite well, I just can't stand getting water in my ears or eyes. Stupid water. And I don't exactly trust it, either.

i'll go with you!! lol...
ok, Part 2 of Brydie's Usless Ramblings: 1) is it normal for a 14 yr old girl to feel as though nothing at all is in her control? that is, NOTHING AT ALL - her education, her friendships, her relationships within her family...does it change after a while? sometimes i wish so much that i was 8 yrs old again...no responsibilities at all, i dont have to act mature about everything... 2) ARGH!!! worst nightmare!! on friday nite, i was babysitting for these kids who live up the road. we were watching LOTR 3, and i was sitting next to the youngest one, who's about 4 or 5. in the middle of the movie he says casually 'i wish that the baby was here, that way we could put the popcorn here, and you could get to it from there...blah blah blah...i was so surprised!! and i said 'the baby? what baby?' and he goes 'oh, the baby in mummy's tummy...blah blah blah'...i had no idea what to do! should i have told the mum that he told me? should i have kept it a secret? i hate being put into positions like that... 3) yes, i saw min in the city and didn't say hello. 4) i HATE orlando bloom! grrr!! 5) POOL!
thats all i can think of atm...

Don't worry, Brydie, it's completely normal to feel as though you're travelling down a very scary tunnel where nothing is in your control when you're fourteen. I'm afraid to say that this impression will probably remain, on and off, for a while... possibly until you turn forty.

Speaking of scary, I get to see my first real patient today - eeek! I only get to take a history, not actually ask them about any problems or examine them on anything, so I dont know what I'm so scared about, but I am! Eeeekk! I always run out of questions to ask..... ooh, I bet you're all going to love coming to see me when I finally graduate...

Ooh, good luck, Avvy! How exciting and scary all at once! You'll be fine. In fact, I bet you'll have a fantastic time.
So is that an open invitation to your graduation?

I love the Ekka! and it's not that expensive if you don't want it to be. I was there from 10am till the fireworks and apart from entry costs (which my Mum paid for) spent a bit under $30 and had an absolutly wonderful time.

In that situation you can either pretend you don't know or simply say something like " (insert name here) told me you are pregnant. COngratulations!" and they will tell you if they don't want you spreading it around or not. 3) yes, i saw min in the city and didn't say hello. 4) i HATE orlando bloom! grrr!! 5) POOL! You horrible person!! Darling you obviously aren't looking properly. OMG POOL!!!!! That's so exciting!!!!!! Squarmi

I'm so jealous of the pool. I want one too. Even better, I'd like the weather to warrant getting a pool.

I wanna pool. My next door neighbours have one, and in the summer all you can hear is 'splash splash' coming from their house while we stand around drowning in our sweat...

Being a teenager was full on. Its even more full on when you're pregnant, and then when you have a baby (or in my case two). But you mature pretty quickly when that happens.
