It's never too late to learn an instrument! I can play the piano and the flute but that's not enough for me - I want to learn the violin and the oboe as soon as possible. Then I might be satisfied. Of course, you'll have to find some spare time in which to learn. That's always a bit tricky...

Me too, I'm afraid. Between LiveJournal and ProBoards, I have no life away from my computer!! But it'll probably change when I get my piano back. I've missed playing the piano far too much.

I can play guitar but I stopped because I was naturally good at classical guitar but I wanted to be naturally good at fun guitar like rock etc. It just got too frustrating. My teacher would say "If you can play this(points at classical piece) then you should be able to play this" (points at Brown-Eyed Girl or something similar). But I just couldn't, I was totally un-co at it. I still play a little for my kids though.

I'm so glad you play for your kids. My mum can play the guitar but she very rarely played for us. It was just so lovely when she did and so disappointing when she didn't. So spoil your kids with a little personal-guitar playing every now and then. I bet they love it.
