Yeah... now you can see why it is a little hard to pick up the book to read it because the cover does put you off a bit.

thats the one we have at school when i took it off the shelf and told one of my friends to read it, that it was the best book ever written, you should have seen her face ;D she just stared at the cover, then at me, then at the cover i wished i had a camera

God, it looks like it should be Attack of the Sea Creature or something. The girl looks like she's dressed up as a prawn... It's hideous.
I read 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd. From my school library. But if I get them tomorrow (my bday) or buy them in the near future I'll probably have all 3rds.

Why are the 2nd and 3rd editions of TKP exactly the same? The 3rd has the outside bit like all the 3rd ones, but the picture on the inside of it is the picture from the original. There's really no point in it except to make the 3rd edition one look like the other 3rd edition ones...

I possess 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd. My Ashling is one of those large trade paperbacks, because I bought it the minute came out, mistakenly believing that it was the third and final book in the series... I'll get over that one of these days.

lol does it feel any different? I wouldnt imagine it does... I felt the same when I turned 15, though I am entirely convinced that once I hit 16 it'll be different...

Omegadefender, this is going to sound like an odd question, but you don't play the drums at all do you?

I love the drums... But I play the clarinet... Which I also love. I also love the saxophone, which I have played, and I don't really like the piano, which i've also played.

Since the books aren't sold in ireland i haven't read the third one yet. ah well. someday i'll track it down According to Lucy, only Obernewtyn and The Farseekers have been released in England, so you wouldn't even have any luck if you nicked 'next door' to get Ashling and The Keeping Place (or any of the Legendsong books, for that matter). I'm afraid all you Irish and UK fans are just going to have to come out to Australia to feed your Obernewtyn habits.
