Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know... if you're a harry potter fan... the title for book seven has seemingly been revealed on the jkrowling site. i won't spoil the fun, but the instructions to work out the title (which took me a grand total of about two minutes) are on www.the-leaky-cauldron.org. I wonder if others find the title as cryptic as I do... |

Hmmm... I wonder what the name means for whats in the book... I already knew the name as Borders sends out the title's of new books, etc. It sounds cool but we have to wait until July to read it  |

I think it's just a rumour that it's coming out in July ... Lots of people want it to come out on the 7/07/07 coz it's the 7th book. I checked the internet, and all the reliable websites (like Scholastic, Muggle.net and Leakycauldron) say that the release date is still unannounced.
Scholastic says: "(December 21 2006) JK Rowling announced today on her website the title of her as yet undelivered 7th book, which is ... (I won't say in case people want to find out themselves) ... The publication date has not been set.
And we should probably be talking about this on the thread in the Library ...

She hasn't finished writing it yet! Even when she does, there's still the editing phase. And I think last time it took about six months just to print, market, distribute etc because they need so many copies all around the world.
So I'd be extremely surprised if it came out in 2007 at all. I think 2008 is more likely.

Well Borders is already handing out pre-order forms so it must be coming out soon... I got an email about it not long ago... They wouldn't already be pre-ordering it if they didn't know when it was going to come out, would they?

Oh, I'm sure they would, actually. You can pre-order without having a set date to get it. Just as long as they know for a fact that it's going to exist at all (which of course it would). They'll just keep everyone's names on a database until it comes out, whenever that may be.

I'm saving my money up for spending in France, buying copies of the Legendsong series (the feinna is AWESOME) and now saving up for the HP book. I have a feeling next year isn't going to be a spending year...
