1-myself and a friend (Captain) catch a bus in from college to town, so we can catch another one to blackmans bay. This occured at about 2:30pm, Monday afternoon, in broad daylight.
2-someone we used to know (Madelin Paps) comes up and myself and her exchange greetings.
3-Captain says 'Hi Paps'
4-Maddie starts yelling at the Captain and storms off
5-we continue waiting for the bus
6-maddie comes back with two guys in tow. she points to the Captain and says 'that's him'.
7-They walk up to him and start saying 'what you been saying about madelin', and things to that nature.
8-he responds with 'i haven't said anything'.
9-one of the guys throws a punch at the Captain. It connects under his left eye.
10-he throws another punch. It connects slightly higher, next to his eye.
11-I take a step forward and say 'hey, leave him alone'.
12-the other guy swings at me. It connects with my left ear.
13-Maddie says to me 'oh my god, I'm so sorry, they weren't meant to hit you!'
14-I ask her if they were meant to hit the Captain.
15-she replies in the nagative.
16-a large man stands up, tells the guys attacking us to get lost
17-they start picking on him as well, and he walks off, dropping his bag of clothes on the way.
18-one of the guys runs after him, into a car park out of sight.
19-he then runs out, into oncoming traffic. He sticks his finger up at them as the stop.
20-Maddie and the two guys then proceed to run away.
21-as we wait for the bus, a man cycles up and says 'you guys ok? I told the security guard across the road, he's called the cops'.
22-the bus arrives, and we go home.
23-We seperatly contact the police.
24-later that night, I converse with Bernie. He asks if the Captain got bashed up.
25-I retell the days events. He says he heard Maddie braggin about how she got her friends to 'bash a black belt'.
26-he asks if i want him to deal with them, as he can get their address. I reply with negative, and let him know that we've allready phoned the police about it. I mention that if he can get the address to me, I'll hand it on to the cops.
27-Tuesday morning, Captain receives a phone call from the guy who hit him. He laughs at the Captain and makes fun of him for a bit, then hangs up.
28-The Captain lets the police know, and makes sure that they didn't call me as well.
29-me and the Captain give formal statements to the police, including a description, and say that we are interested in laying charges. The Captains dad known one of the detective sargents, who will make sure everything is sorted out properly.

And yeah wtf? What kind of young girls go and get people bashed for saying hi??
