Sorry I didn't go to the meeting today. The last I heard was that you guys were going to see Harry Potter 3, and I haven't seen the first two so I thought it would be silly to see the third.
I didn't realise you were just meeting up to say hello.
Well it seems there'll be one on June 26. So I'll write it down in my diary and should hopefully come along then.
Who else will be there?

Oh, I'm sorry you didn't come too. It ended up being just Megana, Elixa and I. We had lunch and bought lollies from this cool British sweet shop at Darling Harbour. Much fun.

Hehe, you're not the only virtual fat one, Elixa. I think I've gained at least 20 virtual kg since I joined ober.net! It's all the parties, coco, and tim tams. But they're so yummy! *drools* mmmm, tim tams.
And no, I won't be coming to the meet. I know, sad, but my taekwondo grading is that day, and I can't miss it. But I hope you guys all have fun!

we could have character dressing up and the best dressed gets points for their guilds hehe
actually.... they mite work for out of syd and melbourners too coz then they could just get someone to take a photo of them as character and post it

I like the idea of a big Sydney meet for the Moonfair. Twould be fun! ;D But I don't no about dressing up........I don't really have any obernewtynish clothes......*frowns while pondering the contents of her wardrobe.* But a picnic somewhere would be really nice, especially if heaps of us could make it!

**creeps in**
I...err... HELLO! I can't believe how many meets I've missed! Plain ridiculous! At the moment it's quite difficult on weekends as I have work and soccer (which resulted in the aggravation of my stupid ankle which is refusing to heal hence why I didn't make it to the Monday meet)
But Moonfair sounds like fun! Although, if younger members wanted to come then perhaps a pub crawl is not the best?

Brainstorming: - Scavenger Hunts (looking for certain items/buildings/things throughout the city
- Treasure Hunt (items hidden within a smaller location like park promenade. Whatever)
- Taking gnomes/object of choice to various amusing locations/situations and taking photos
- Performing some kind of ridiculous play
- Hats. There have to be hats.
- Food. I'm willing to provide some free food within a reasonable limit. BBQ, snacks, chocolate prize type things
- Shopping Trolley races
- other ridiculous japes and larks
- Umm... paper mache giants.

oooo the pub crawl would be for another time...not moonfair! we want everyone there for moonfair!
those ideas sound great clare! esp the hats!!!! id be happy to bring food or things as well and the scavenger hunt/treasure hunt would be fun! tho we do have to make some sort of fool out of ourselves...so weird objects and photos is prob top on my list! but hey we could make it a whol day event and do plenty of activites! ;D

lol no the pub crawl is an excuse to go out and be silly!
id really like to have some sort of comp between cities or soemthing, but that mite be diffiul. therefore soem activites we run should be able to be done at home for those whpo cant do it in group.

Ooh...a hat making competition!!!!! A competition for who can come up with the zaniest hat! And if we took photos then they could be compared with other cities hats thus making it a viable option for giving out points! Good thinking Squarmi! Similarly the object photo ideas.
Dressing up should be up to the individual... **grins madly**
As for earning guild points at a Moonfair meet.. I'll have a talk with Lauren and the others to see what they think. To be reasonable, they really should be given for activities/creations that can be photographed and added to the site and up to the discretion of an arbitary board. **removes lawyer wig**
But if we want to win things, then I have a bag of things than could substitute as prizes should the points thing not work.

i thought elixa was meaning in general - like if we held some sort of competition or challenge that we can earn points for our guild. doesnt have to be for moonfiar ...and of course goes with out sayin that it would have to be able to get on the net for everyone to see/judge or wat ever...but i just thought itd be like the writin comps or somethin...if u get me?!?! anyway it doesnt bother me...all soudns fun!

Hats are fun! And I'd be willing to supply lots of junk food, mainly choccy. ;D A photo comp would be good, especially if we could have an inter-city thing. The only prob I can see is that Syd and Melb are the two more active cities, and it wouldn't be fair for the people who aren't from either one or the other. And a treasure/scavenger hunt would be lots of fun! For that matter, so would the pub crawl! But me thinks pub crawling is not good for moonfair. But definately good for some other time!
