amazing. i don't know about how u work out the ascendent with reard to local/gmt. i reckon its local because the day is split up into different parts of the day, and its the part of the day that is important,e.g. morning, evening, night, early morning, etc. im about 4 mins of gmt, so it doesnt make a difference to me. also china doesnt use gmt so it must be local time or china local time. im guess its local time.

Man, nothing on that horoscopey thingy on us snakeys! I feel cheated. I'll have to make my own up. *mystic voice, suddenly wearing blue robes and is looking into a glass ball crystal orb (doesn't it sound better?)* "You Chinese thingie is the snake.....you arewilling to pay money for Chinese Horoscopes......will get caught in the rain at one point......you are a member of obernewtyn.net.......your message board is found here.......you stoop to nothing for advertising......and sometime this year, you will meet a tall, dark and handsome stranger who will steal away your heart DVD player........avoid anyone called 'Captain'......that is all I see."

someone wrote that chinese horoscopes are worked out by bejing time. it seems their posts has since been deleted. i was looking at a web site that i could use to find out what my ascendent is by beijing time. i found a page that said that your ascendent doesnt go by beijing time and that it goes by local time without daylight savings modification. link.

Just because you can't find it doesn't mean it's deleted, Fuil. Did you mean this thread?
