id probably WANT to be in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, but id probably END UP in either Raven claw or maybe Hufflepuff  ooohhh gryffindor would be good coz harrys in it!!!!! |

The test put me in Ravenclaw...but I'd want to be in Gryffindor - they at least get to have a little fun, and can still be good at school.

hmm i dont know what id be in....i think ravenclaw....lot sof us seem to be in ravenclaw. for some reason i have no great longing to be in gryffindor, i think id be quite happy to be in ravenclaw ;D

yeah tis cause ravenclaw is still great! but i like gryffindor too, they're all good but slytherin.....
id be a gryffindor or possibly a ravenclaw

yeah hufflepuff seems a bit wussy in the french versions of the book they're called pouffesouffles, wich is just a really bad name too. its weird. slytherin is called serpetaire, and i cant remeber the rest

i thought id also mention the sorting hat is called the choixpeau which is kinda a play on words meaning both choice and hat which is really kewl

im in gryffyndor, though im not sure if i should be there, i dont think im that brave, though im definately not a slytherin, though i am ambitious, i wont go so far as hurt people to get there. not so sure about the other two, theyre traits arent that talked about in the books
maybe ravenclaw i guess

I've been re-reading my HP, and here's a part of a Sorting Hat song that should really help!
Said Slytherin, 'We'll teach just those
Whose ancestry is purest.'
Said Ravenclaw 'We'll teach those whose
Intelligence is surest.'
Said Gryffindor 'We'll teach all those with brave deeds to their name,'
Said Hufflepuff, 'I'll teach the lot
And treat them just the same.'
So THAT'S the original intentions of the four founders, but I'm sure the houses have developed other purposes. Hold on, I'll check Philsopher's Stone

Just for the hell of it, I'll see what Azkaban and Goblet have to say
In Azkaban they miss the sorting, and in Goblet, the Hat has this to say about the four houses:

For Ravenclaw, the cleverest

For Hufflepuff, hard workers were
Most worthy of admission;
And power-hungry Slytherin
Loved those of great ambition.
So there you go. I still think I'm probably a Gryffindor after that. I'm definetly not Slytherin. I suppose I might be a Ravenclaw, but Hufflepuff is RIGHT OUT.
I'll assume I'm a Gryffindor, because Neville is.
