I was searching through A&G the other day for Little Fur for my cousins, and came across a new Carmody book, that the book store only got in on Friday, apparently. It's a children's book called "The Wrong Thing", illustrated by Declan Lee, about a cat called Hurricane, who chases "the wrong thing" around the house one night, trying to figure out what it is.
It's an absolutely gorgeous book. I love the cat!

It is gorgeous, there's this one line in there where the cat thinks "Is it for cats? Is it for eating?" SOOOO cute. It's really a lovely book.

Any idea on the age group? My goddaughter turned 7 recently, would she be too young?

Yeh, in my Angus and Robertson Reading Circle Newsletter it said that the sequel to Little Fur- A Fox Called Sorrow is out (but on Dymocks it says it doesnt come out til the end of May) It's definitely out. I really should remember that not everyone works at a bookstore and knows these things already... I always forget to post here when something's due out.

bah! more books! Well, it just distracts us from Darkbane and The Sending. Something major must be happening in the sending then....but it sounds cute thought, I must buy it!
