i got alyzon Whitestarr for my birthday and have gone furiously through it. I really liked it. now i was just wondering did she lose her extended senses at the end? coz she seemed to then she kissed harrison and she still smells that lavender and chocolate or whatever smell. so does that meann she gets them back? i dont know i am confused. Also will there be a sequel? because i got really into it!

I think she purposefully left it up in the air so that the possibility for a sequel existed...well, that was my thought anyway when reading it

yeah that was evident with the sickness still out there and everything. I still want to know if she retained her extended senses

There's a discussion on the Library board here, if that helps. You could revive it.

Maybe I took it differently, but I thought that perhaps it wasn't so much that she got her extended senses back, but just that she now relates to her normal senses differently... she didn't necessarily need those extended senses to be reminded of lavendar and chocolate etc when she was with harrison. I thought it was a nice symbolic touch, leaving it slightly open-ended, but not quite strong enough for a sequel. *grugs* but maybe that's just me
