This is a short message to let everyone know that preparations for the 2006 Moonfair are underway!
Theme: The Seasons of the Obernewtyn Chronicles
The Coldwhite
Autumn Harvest
Days of Rain
High Summer
Dates: Planning from now until late August; Competitions open September 1st - October 31st.
To get everything sorted asap, we would like everyone to speak with their guildleaders and ML2's (listed below) to decide your preferences of themes, if you haven't already.
ML2's - please email your guild's preferences to the Moonfair email address (moonfair@obernewtyn.net) by Midnight Sunday 18th June. That way, we will aim to allocate the themes to suit everyone by the end of next week.
The Moonie Level 2 list:
Wandies: Rilla, Galligaskins and Kayt
Dreamies: Cat-Eyes, Squirt and Arien
Mystics: Elixa and Rigel
Ashlings: Turks and Megana
For the newbies out there, these people are assigned to each guild to help Emerald, Min and Seagull Fred (the three Moonie Level 1's) coordinate the Moonfair.
If there are any questions or suggestions, please let us know asap.

Rilla: so far I've heard some rumors. Only one 'official' bid has been made.
The rumored selections are:
Ashlings would like either Coldwhite or Autumn Harvest
Mystics would like Autumn Harvest with Coldwhite as their second preference (the 'official' bid)
Wandies would like High Summer
Dreamies would like either Coldwhite or Days of Rain
So if you're part of that guild and want a say, head over to your guild board!
ML2's please remember to email moonfair@obernewtyn.net with your 'official' bid.

Huzzah! The Moonfair Guild Themes have been decided already! Wanderers: High Summer Mystics: Autumn Harvest Dreamweavers: Days of Rain Ashlings: Coldwhite Remember, there is a secondary theme (mostly for visual design purposes) of copper and wool, which all the guilds will share if they so desire. Bring on the ewes!! Also remember that you can incorporate ideas from SusRid, SR+, the AoC and WAMOC wherever you like. There is an activity planning thread located here where you can start conversing with other guilds about the types of activities each season/guild will cover.
