He he... much cooliness I always knew there'd be an excuse somewhere for me to come out into open pirateness. I am: Captain Ethel Flint Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr! Bow to my captain-ness, minions! (sorry, little carried away there) Ethel always was one of my favourite names - I once had a chook or a rabbit or something called Ethel. But why are we all related? Does this mean I have to leave my ship to someone when I go down to join Davey Jones?

there used to be an irish women pirate a few centuries ago. theres a story about her meeting the then queen of england. the queen offer her a handkerchief, the priate women blew her nose with it and threw it in the fire. the handkerchief was made of silk, which would have been far less abundent in England then than it is now. it was an irish custom to throw a rag in the fire after it had been used to blow your nose. Probably for the sake of hygiene (or maybe no one wanted to clean it, they didnt have washing machines).

yeah but global warming my butt! it seems to em each winter gets colder and colder and if there really was such a thing as global warming it wouldnt be so bloody cold when i get up in the morning! thats one aspect of the enhanced greenhouse effect, more extremes of temperature, hotter in the summer and colder in the winter.

Arg I be Bloody Jenny Vane.
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!
