A new comp for the new year! Vote for your favourite threads and help us compile:

Everyone who participates by nominating a thread will earn 2 points towards their guild tally. Whether you nominate 1 thread, or 100 threads, you'll still get 2 points total.

Submit your favourite threads in a PM to Elspeth (username=admin).

How do I decide on a hottest thread?
Which thread/s do you spend a lot of time in?
Which thread/s do you enjoy the most?
Which thread/s do you think flow the best?
Which thread/s are the funniest?

Guidelines
Don't nominate any threads from a password-protected board (that is, Misfits Only, any of the guild boards, Prodders, the Hunt for Talents or the Guildhall).
Include a link to the thread/s you submit.
Include a reason why you think a thread should be on the hottest 100 list (optional, but nice)
Make sure you submit entire threads, not just a particular post.

This competition will run for a month. Closing for the Hottest 100 Threads will be Midnight, 16th February so get your entries to me asap!

The thread doesn't depend on who started it though, it just depends on your enjoyment of it. If you enjoy that thread the most, vote for it!

And I just want to reiterate that you can vote more than once. Vote as many threads in as you want.

Hehe, I was reading the closing date as 16th of this month and not next month and going "Steady on, give us a chance to see the thread! You only posted it today!" and then after a few moments confusion realised it's January... *whistles*

How did everyone's Triple J votes go? Three of my 10 made it into the hundred:

Coldplay - Fix You (at #26)
Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To? (at #10)
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc. (at #3)

I liked the fact that Bloc Party got so many songs (I just voted for a different one to everyone else), but New Order and Fat Freddy's Drop missed out!

This comp is for you guys to all nominate your favourite threads that are within Obernewtyn.net for example, you could PM Elspeth with The Mr Squiggle Game is my favourite thread because I love seeing what crazy things people come up with in paint!
