I've also played the ocarina Ocarina? I'd love to play that!
Have you ever played the video game Zelda: Ocarina of time?
I reckon Ocarine music is so soothing!

Lud I loved that game, Ocarina of time. I remember when it first came out, my brother and I played it non-stop for about 2 weeks over the school holidays. The money we spent on hiring it could have definately payed for the game itself

lol, Ocarina of Time, best game ever, no argument Could never get all the hearts, though... I've played flute for about 10 years. I've played in concert bands for almost as long, and the school orchestra. That's the type I like to play, usually - with others in a big band. Alone I like to play jigs and reels, but they're really tricky, and I'm a slack practiser. I can play recorder fairly well, but naught special. I've dabbled in piano, but can't strum a guitar if my life depended on it. This is the perfect thread to ask the question, so I hope someone responds: In the recent The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe movie, Mr Tumlus (sp?) played an instrument that looked like a a recorder and an oboe joined together, but forked. Basically it looked like he had shoved two short recorders into his mouth and was playing them at the same time. I fell in love with it instantly, but does it actually exist in real life? Does it have a real name? Or was it just made for the movie? Because I'd gladly give up feeding the radioactive glowworms to the squirrels if I could get my paws on one... Cheers! FtS

*hugs zelda game* so awesome I can play a little guitar and I like singing, but that's about it...I'm a pretty crap singer too, but still- it's fun My mum used to learn guitar, but I'm not sure for how long. She tells me stories, but she's never picked up my guitar and played me anything. I'd like to learn properly, and there's sooo many instruments I'd like to pick up and try- Violin, flute..and omg, DRUMS! I reckon they'd be really fun As for what I like playing..I really like chords. I think they sound nice. And I'll sing anything ;D

I sorta play piano, I finished grade 8 and didn't wanna continue with the teaching levels so it's sorta at my leisure. And I play glock and xylophone at school. And used to learn clarinet but quit cos I sucked and it was boring anyway. And I love your icon, Arien

Yeah maties, music is fantastic.
I play the french horn, folk harp, piano, a bit of guitar and I like to sing.
I've always wanted to play cello but my parents said no.
I love to compose music and have some good pieces on the way. You shall be able to listen to them on the Blackjack Multimedia website!!! (under construction)

yeah theres nothing wrong with cellos.... apart from the fact that you'd probably have to buy one, and a bow and a case and music and lessons.... ok so maybe that is a lot but thats not the point

[glow=limegreen,2,600]Well I can sing, all sorts of different stuff. Mostly I sing along to CDs but it isn't bad
I am also a dancer. Irish dancing, though you may laugh (and please don't ), is very physically demanding and takes constant practice, once you get good, to retain. I have been dancing for ... ummm ... 6 years. If you don't believe that Irish dance is hard, go pick up a copy of Riverdance or Lord of the Dance . I'm sure you've heard of them!!!![/glow] Oh cool! I used to Irish dance... I was competing in Primary and the level up from that, and I can sing and play piano.. did grade 2 of piano but im not that great, have a musical ear so am better at singing. Was in school choir from yr 2-12 and when my class of yr 5 girls ( we were in a composite5/6 so there was only 9 of us) i had to sing the entire " Good King Wenchlus" In front of th school. that was nerve wrecking. I can play 2 things on guitar, the opening to Nothing Else Matters - Metallica, and the chorus to Smoke on the Water -Deep Purple. My mum has been playing Guitar for 15yrs or so, and My Uncle is Grade 8 cello, and his wife is grade 7 Piano. I used to have a Piano in my room!!!
