Sounds familiar. TKP was released in Oz during university exam week. Didn't stop me reading it! Though perhaps I would have passed paleantology if I'd studied instead...  |

At the moment the rumored release date for The Sending is somewhere in the middle of my HSC, September- November 2006. Itll be great, ill stress about exams, wont be able to read it until im finished my exams and then stres about not being able to read it yet and then again about the HSC and tehn Ill probably explode from stress.

'S also Christmas present buying time, for those organised people who don't do their pressie shopping on the 23rd of December. Last year I was actually *glad* it'd been pushed back, 'cause I wouldn't have been able to stop myself reading it the night before a crucial HSC exam or three.

if you think about it another way it can be a good thing. i was reading TKP during yr 12 exam time and i was able to truly escape for a few hours and take a real break from school work, whereas every thing else i did, my mind was always stressed and overflowing with study i hadn't done and assignments i hadn't finished.
reading it b4 bed was good coz i could get a good night sleep after tearing my mind away from my life stuff and be in someone elses world for a while. the hard thing though is making yourself put it down and going to sleep at a reasonable hour.
