i have been in canberra for a dear wedding. it may be amusing to note that the highlight was not the wedding. thats right whilst in canberra i found a signed ober book. HUZZAH FOR ME

Did Dymocks know it was signed? Like did it have a sign near it saying it was signed? Or were they totally unaware of it? In any case, it's pretty cool! I only have one signed book and I didn't even get to meet IC to get it done, it was my Mum that met her...

ive only got three books signed by John Marsden when I went to a writing camp...darn it I want my ober book signed! *jealous* yay for u Miky! someone's SPECIAL!

Hey, was that about 10 years ago? Or am I thinking of something else? Actually I think so, John Marsden came to our school when I was in Year 6 (I feel so oooold...) which was interesting but I never read any of the Tomorrow when the war began books.. only So Much to Tell You and Take my Word for It- and one of the others- I wasn't particularly excited so I don't think I even got anything signed- how stoopid was that? Signed books are very special.

i think the Marsden books are about the only ones i read that school didnt make me read..
(btw, i have never read ober,never even seen a book cover of it)

hehe... and yeah Miky I went to one of his writing camps last year suring Winter. it was freezing! but it was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallly good i met ppl that i cud talk to bout writing for once! it was awesome and i learnt heaps i still talk to some of the ppl i met there
