Helloooo!!
Just thought I'd point out the existance of a new section in the Guildmerge category (formerly the Beforetime category) - Obernet chat!
If you're logged into proboards, you can now enter into this board for a live chat (rather than relying on msn messenger, irc, etc). It uses a java applet so if you don't have java installed...well, I believe it'll prompt you to install it. Can someone (who doesn't have java) confirm this for me?
Try it out and let me know if there are any bugs!

ok got there and then wat do i click the Java Applet by www.freejavachat.com link? casue besides that there isnt naythign else. im nto very internet orientated or smart |

it would take a while on dial-up around 15 to 30 sec on 256/64K ADSL connection or just use and IRC client like mIRC. I just use ChatZilla which is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox.

It was booting me out today too...quite a lot actually. I think it just goes down occasionally or something. Seems to be working now.
If it boots you out, wait 5 minutes (explore the site) then come back.

bah i can't access it at work coz i dont have the java thing and i'm prolly not allowed to download it. in fact i shouldnt be on here right now but meh, leave me alone in the offcie while the directors are all off on a golf day and ill get pretty peeved and muck up |

It sounds pretty exciting but a bit difficult for us technically-challenged people... so I'm gonna wait till I've handed in all my uni essays then I'll have time to figure it out! (or bribe my brother to do so) hehe
