Amazing! I shall have to venture into some bookshops after work tomorrow. Why wait for Monday if it's out already?
I wonder if this means they're lying about the Thud! release date as well? *ponders*

I know, I sauntered into QBD last night and !BAM!, there was Alyzon Whitestarr on the shelves!!! Bought it but haven't started reading it yet...thanks to Paul and another massive star wars lego purchase...was sitting there making a Y-wing fighter going "I would rather be reading!!!!" gah!!!!

MOST AWSOME BOOK EVA!!!!!!
it is seriously the greatest!! I'm so addicted to it.
I've already read ova half the book in one day
It kinda reminds me of the gathering- but heaps better!!!!
It is the coolest book!

Yeh I saw the book in Collins Bookseller yesterday. Going to wait till it comes into the library first and then buy it if it really good. Its a stand alone novel isn't it? I don't think I could stand waiting for the next Obernwtyn, Legendsong and Azylon Whitestarr.

I havent seen it, and I went to the mall today, but then again I only gave Dymocks a cursory glance. Im too wrapped up in Eldest
of course it was a corruption of Alison, but IC just wanted to make it alot spiffier ;D

Yeah lunicatcalledelf, it reminds me a lot of the Gathering too, only better!! I've started a thread in the Library for people who have finished it and want to discuss it - complete with spoilers, so read at your own risk!

I really want to read Alyzon Whitestarr, but it wont be out where I live for a while- it usually takes a while for most books to get out here. Soooo frustrating

hey all. i'm sort of new to Obernewtyn.net but i HAD to reply to this post ;D i picked up Alyzon Whitestarr by complete chance the other in the stores and since then i've read it twice and know whats its all about!!!!! and it has quickly become one of my fac IC books. its very simular to the gathering thought not in the plot, and IC has added a bit more romance to this novel (which i found very very very very gorgeous  )if you want to know anything more you can just message me and i'll help with any questions. *deep breath* since i'm knew i really hope you can message others....and if not i'll just reply to this thread again with any questions you might have. Alyzon is a definate read!!!!!! |

Yes, Alyzon is only a stand alone book!
Read it, loved it! I think i'm goin peculiar.... I wish I could find a Harrison! lol. He sounds like such a sweetie!

Me too Elaria! If only there could be a harrison for all of us Soooo... cute. I loved the romance factor, it really added to the book. It was a fantastic book, everyone should read it! Its one of my fave IC books now!!! Does anything think it'll be a series or just a standalone? |
