I mentioned this AGES ago, but finally it's happening. I've read Darkfall and I'm two-thirds of the way through Darksong.
But here's the thing: I've been recording my thoughts as I go, chapter by chapter, so that those of you who have read the books many times can get a feel for what it was like reading them for the first time.
I got the idea from someone who did a similar thing for Lord of The Rings and thought it was so interesting that I'd do the same thing.
I've tried not to make it an exercise of self-indulgence and also I'm not trying to critique the books as I go, but rather am just recording what I feel as I read it, as well as making some guesses as to what might happen (some of them completely wrong, of course!)
I probably have a week or two to go and then I'll put them on the internet somewhere so that people can read them if you want.
Does anyone have a good suggestion of somewhere I can put them?

The Library would probably be the best place, good Roz. It might even inspire other people to do the same thing for other books.  |

Sounds like a good read Roz, can't wait to read your thoughts. Very good idea, although with the Legendsong trilogy (so far) I don't know whether I'd have ahd the self restraint to stop at the end of every chapter and write how I felt - I just wanted more ;D

Rightio... I have finally done it. I'll take the suggestion and put in on the library site. I don't exactly know how to make a link to it, so hopefully this message will be enough.
Hope you like it! They're kind of long... but if you're a big fan of the books, I hope that at least they're interesting.
